Comfortable & Durable
I've heard many friends & family over the years say Merrell's are the most comfortable shoes they've ever had so when I got a new job I decided to finally try them out. They weren't lying! I've had these for 10 months now and am on my feet on concrete 8 to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and these are just as comfortable as when I first received them. I didn't have any sore feet the first few weeks to break them in at all. The very tip of the sole has peeled away a teeny-tiny bit but, I work on my knees a lot as well, so it's constantly scraping on the floor. Other than that, 1 shoe string has just started to fray. I'd highly recommend these boots for hiking or work purposes.

Needed 1/2 size up from casual footwear, comfortable out of the box, color accurate
Merrill has always been a great brand for me, so while I haven't field tested these on a trail yet, I don't expect any quality issues.I was concerned about the sizing, having read several comments about the running small. I took a gamble and ordered the same size as my running shoes, and it paid off. In my casual shoes, I am an 8. I ordered these in 8.5s, and the fit is perfect for me. My toes end right beofre where the black reinforcement strip starts on the shoe. Nice room in the toe box for thicker socks or foot swelling, and good fit in the mid-foot and heal so that my feet aren't sliding around. They have good arch support and nicely cushioned ankle support. It has a firmer step than a trail runner, but not so stiff that a brief jog or fast walk would be uncomfortable.

Merrells are the best.
We both use Merrells. Best hiking boots around. Feels like great support, very well-cushioned, surprisingly comfortable, surprisingly good fit! Sure, there are cheaper options out there, but I've tried them...end up uncomfortable and sore. Merrells are on another level..feel like we're floating along the path (well, sort of, you get the idea). Better to pay once for a great hiking boot then pay five times for five other hiking boots. Absolutely worth the price for us, just try a hike with them!

LOVE THESE BOOTS
I love these boots! I've had them for about a year now, and they are holding up quite well with daily use. I wear them when I walk my dog. He loves running through tall grass in the morning, which gets my sneakers wet, but not my boots. These will stay dry for about 30 minutes of running through dewy grass. After 30 minutes of constant wetness, the water will finally seep in, but that's pretty good for a hiking boot I haven't waterproofed. They also do a great job of keeping my feet warm in the winter. I live on the east coast, and we had some pretty cold days this past winter. I wear fairly thick socks of course (which fit well in the boot).Lastly, the arch support on this boot is great and that's not always the case with hiking boots.

Fit is true to size. Very comfortable
Really happy with this purchase. Fit is very true to size. Sometimes I size up with hiking or running shoes but no need. They’re super comfortable. I wore them on a 6 mile hike for the first time and was really pleased.

Absolute Perfection
I'm 61 and in a reconditioning phase. I love Merrell shoes & boots and have several pairs. Still, I thought these would take some breaking in, if even a little. Nope. They were absolutely perfect right out of the box. I wore them around the house for a few hours, then the next day hiked more than 3 miles in them without a single problem. No soreness or rubbing or anything foot-wise. Not even any foot fatigue. I absolutely love them and can't possibly recommend them highly enough.

merrill moab2 womens hiking boots
I love the fit of this boot, the color, and the support! It was nice to have enough room for medium socks, thick socks, or unlace the top ankle support and wear with thin socks. Great boot for a great price!

Merrill women hiking/trail boots
I bought these hiking boots because I camp a lot. I found them to be sturdy yet light weight and very comfortable. I was worried buying shoes on line but took the chance and I am so happy I did!!!

Comfort, great traction and last ,and last, and last. and a decent price.
I like these because they are wide enough to be comfortable for my feet , unlike a lot of other brands that seem to only have narrow ones.(and I didn't have to get wides either, just regular.) They work for my high arches, and They don't rub my anchilles' tendon either which is another big plus compared to others. I have been wearing these exact same shoes for several years now, but I finally had to get them replaced. They really hold up well, and have good cushioning and great traction. I walk at least an hour a day. Sometimes on fields ,sometimes on pavement and sometimes on rocky hills. I was so happy to find that they hadn't changed anything in them.
