Great little amp perfect for my mids and highs

This amp although priced way affordable and from a manufacturer that doesn’t get a great reviews on most products! This amp has blown me away! My previous amp but the dust and did not want to dump a bunch of money into my boats sound system. I took a gamble on this amp to run 6 speakers and a sub in my boat and was just shocked and blown away on how great it sounds! I would recommend this amp to anyone.

The good: seems well sealed, took a heavy rain outside when I was installing it and didn’t take any damage. Power seems good with a little distortion when maxed out. I actually ended up putting two on my boat because I wanted 2 different sized subs, etc. great value and one of the most poweralful marine amps I could find.The bad: the power and ground don’t really fit 4 ga wire well which I fell is needed if it really is 1500 rms watts (which I doubt). Hard to explain but the signal split is weird. Like one rca input gives signal to channel 1/3 but then when you adjust the level it’s like 1/2. Channel 7/8 can only be used as a sub but not you can’t use your head units sub output because 7 shares an input with 5 for some reason. That’s fine if you run a bass knob but my head unit has a adjustment for the sub on the face I really wanted to use instead of a bass knob. Oh and with two amps and the way the inputs are shared I can’t run an rca level control. I have to run two freaking bass knobs which I’m definitely not doing. If I was doing it again I would just run 3-4 smaller amps to seperate things more cleanly.

matched with 2 Pyle 8in DVC subs and 2 Pyle 10in DVC subs, Bumps, updated, added 2 Hifonic 12in dvc subs. 2 channel amp is now pushing 6 speaker well. Great amp.

I have a 2oo watt clarion head unit. Its the base model, but still 50x4. I use this amp with 2 12's Fosgate Punch 1's. I had an 800 watt amp and always had the level maxed and the frequency punchy the whole way down. My head unit also has a sub volume which was always maxed. I actually use my subs to bring in the low end in my car and use the other 4 speakers (kenwood 3 ways) for mids and highs. I bought this Pyle amp with Cadence Acoustic wires. I had the bass boost on the amp on HOWEVER I only have the level half way and the frequency is set about a quarter high. This is perfect because I am rolling my head unit vol. half way and the bass gain down. Bottom line is this amp is only pushing half what it can, and it is supplying all my low end. Very good punch from low frequencies but also sensitive enough to fill out the bottom end with a wide range. I am actually picking up what the bass player is playing, along with filling out low end frequencies on the drums and nice full punch on the kick. I am so stoked to have picked this amp up so cheap and so stoked that it sounds so awesome. I have had many different set ups in my car over the years and for the price this amp is perfect. Like I said, "Only half the power it can do and more than I need." Pick it up, set it up right, and you won't be dissapointed. Of course if you are running an amp to your other speakers and really pushing out wattage you will need something high end. This has no problems shaking the rearview!

I liked the price which is why I'm sure ALOT of use bought this amp,When the amp hits it hits hard , but even with the gain turned down low and all the bass turned off at the deck , the amp will start to get hot after 4-5 songs and shut off to cool down, once it's cooled down your back to bass , that is until it gets hot again repeat process.I have the 1400x2 amp , on 2 fosgate 10s p3sThe amp does not handle the base at all.I give it a 3 star because when it is cold it works great, it's price effective, however there is no longer car rides and enjoying your music loud with this amp
