My 11 yr old grandson was taught to crochet by his teacher. He enjoys it so I thought he’d also enjoy the loom so many of us had as kids.Would I buy again?…..yes

Used to make these a lot as a kid. Decided to get it again. Same quality (sometimes products change overtime and become worse quality but these are good).

This is a great way to teach children how to weave; however it produces a small potholder. In the photo, on the left is a potholder I made as a child. The potholder in the middle is one I made today using a more expensive kit with a metal loom and thicker loops. The one in the middle is what I was expecting. The one on the right is from this kit with thinner loops, plastic frame and a plastic hook. The colors of the loops in this kit are very pretty. The actual finished size of the potholder made with this kit is 5 x 4 3/4".

This loom bent as I made a potholder. Not sure if it will hold up. The loops were nice and stretchy enough. The colors were as expected. For the price it was a good way to introduce weaving to the grandkids.
