I love to make hot chocolate or coffee and take it out to my garden with me to enjoy in the summer months. For years now I’ve bene using one of these type of insulated thermos jugs and I’ve been more than happy with it, but after 5 or so years use it was time to replace.Having purchased many German made products over the years and having experienced their exceptionally high standards in build quality and performance I decided to go for this premium German brand when replacing my insulated thermos jug. I chose this one in aquamarine as I just love the colour.It arrived beautifully boxed as I would have expected and with a full instruction booklet on how to use it to its best. It really is stunning in colour and looks fabulous in my pure white kitchen. It also looks remarkable on my bistro set in the garden! Be sure to follow the instructions for use to get the best from this product.It comes with a remarkable 5 year guarantee, that’s how confident the German manufacturers are in their products but I expect it to last much longer than even that, which is why I think it is more than worth the wee bit extra you get for a product of this quality. Costs more initially, save more by replacing it less often!Crafted from metal with strong multi-layer stove enamelling, its stunning to look at and wonderful in use. It does indeed keep your drinks hot for 12 hours, piping hot! and I’ve never known this with a thermos jug before. My last one used to keep liquids hot for no more than 5 or 6 hours to be honest. I doubt I’ll ever leave drinks in this for 12 hours but who knows, I now know I can fill it prior to going for a hike and I am comfortable in the knowledge having tested it fully, that my drink will be still piping hot on my return.Its easy to open and close and to pour just takes a press of the lever - all can be done with the one hand holding it. Easy.Delighted with my purchase.

This sits on my work desk. I make tea in the morning and it stays hot all day. I can grab a quick cuppa whenever I want and have spare time ...so no more cold cups of tea for me! It looks fabulous too! I'm saving up for a second one for the house. Bit expensive for my tastes but has been worth it.

great looking product, with a lot of hype from the manufacturer, but did not close and seal fully due to a flaw in it pushbutton design. It keeps water hot for a maximum of 4-5 hours before getting luke warm, all the heat seems to gradually escape through the pushbutton aperture, if you hold it upside down, it leaks through the aperture, so clearly a design fault. At the same time as purchasing this Alfi Gusto I also bought a stainless steel thermos king flask, which performs much better in terms of heat retention and no leaks!!

I bought the red jug and got a white one delivered. As I had no time to exchange / return it, had to accept it anyway. Additionally, the seal is not great and will leak if turned upside down, something that would not happen with my previous Alfi models.

Excellent plain thermoflask. If you ever had a flask that had luke warm coffee after half an hour, then you will love this one.
