Bought this for BMX bikes. It took us a minute to figure out getting it together and on the car, but overall very pleased. I feel like it's well made and not worried about the bikes bike there. I love how you can flip it down when you are not using it and the easy open to get into the back of the car. Overall use weekly and would purchase again.

Was able to fit two adult and two kids bikes on the rack. It's sturdy, no issues with the locking mechanism, and the tilt feature is helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I would have taken a photo had I remembered.I bought this rack to transport four bicycles on a 10-hr, one-way, road trip. It held three adult bikes and one adolescent bike. Easy to assemble, and easy to install. It was solid, with very little moving while driving. The reason I only give four stars has to do with the spacing of each set of holders...fours bikes is a lot to put on a rack, and bike orientations have to be alternated to make it work. If there was a tad bit more space between holders, it would make it easier.But, for the price...compared to a 4-bike rack from a competitor that costs over $1000.00, this works very well.

I’ve used this bike rack for a season now, it has performed well. Love the fold down feature for the horizontal bike holder and it tips out of the way to open the back door of the SUV. I found it easy to assemble. The only thing I do is add a Velcro strap over the bike tie straps for that little bit of added security when carting bikes on the highway, around town I just use the straps that come with the rack. Use a bungy to keep the bike from rocking. Seems like a good sturdy bike rack, hope to have it for many years.

I only needed a rack for 2 bikes but I figured I'd future proof myself and get the 4 bike model. So far I'm very happy with it. It was easy to set up, took maybe 5 minutes. It fit into the hitch receiver perfectly. My only gripe with it is the strap system, it uses the backpack type strap adjusters which don't seem very secure with a lot of vibration. But haven't had an issue with them yet. The arms holding the bikes fold down and you can lean the rack back to gain access to your trunk.

I have a Subaru Ascent, and this bike rack works perfectly with it! I did have a little difficulty getting it off the hitch for the first time, but probably because the piece was stiff since it was newer. I have an older non hitch carrier that had plastic click straps to hold the bikes in place (think the straps for inline skates), and this carrier has the straps made out of a different material, which I feel like the plastic straps felt more secure to me, but this could be a better option from R&D, I'm not sure. I love that the bike holder opens enough to let me have trunk access!! It is perfect! I highly suggest.

Installs very easily into a 2" hitch. Mounted on my Mazda cx-5 and is very stable when driving. No concern or worry when going over bumps. Might want to get a strap to tie wheels together or keep a lone bike's front wheel from turning out of alignment. Certainly not required though. Tips back easily with no bikes on to access the trunk so it can be left on during summer and doesn't block use of trunk for grocery trips etc. Very happy with purchase.

Once you have figured out how to put all your bikes on it, it is great, very heavy and solid, easy to install, fold, remove. I recommend it!
