Innova Inversion Table: Economical, Durable, and Effective Back Relief
Review: Innova Inversion TableCategory: PositiveThe Innova Inversion Table with Adjustable Headrest and Reversible Ankle Holders has proven to be an exceptionally positive and valuable acquisition. A significant advantage of this unit is its affordability, presenting a highly cost-effective solution for individuals seeking the benefits of inversion therapy without a substantial financial outlay. Despite its economical price point, the table demonstrates remarkable durability and robust construction. It comfortably and securely accommodates weights up to 280 pounds, underscoring its sturdy design and reliable engineering. The assembly process was notably straightforward, characterized by ease of installation, which allowed for quick and hassle-free setup.Beyond its physical attributes, the practical benefits of this inversion table have been substantial. Consistent use has contributed positively to spinal decompression, specifically aiding in relieving back tension and facilitating natural "back cracks," which indicates effective alignment support. The long-term performance is also highly commendable; the unit continues to function flawlessly, remaining in excellent condition since its purchase. This sustained durability and consistent therapeutic effectiveness make it an outstanding investment. Given its combination of low cost, ease of use, robust build, and tangible benefits for back health, this product is highly recommended for anyone considering inversion therapy.

Great Product, well built, great price
I just received my inversion table and put it together today. Takes about 40 minutes. I would recommend a ratchet wrench, will make things easier. If not, the tools they give you will work just will take much longer. The directions are clear, concise, no missing parts, all parts are labeled well and actually greased! You may not think that's important but if you've ever had an issue with a screw that gets stuck in the treads? good luck getting it out, so anyway. So let's get to the actual product. I am a retired Chiropractor and have always recommended inversion tables for help with stretching or decompressing your low back. I specialized in treatments of herniated and bulging discs as well as various forms of stenosis. (IYKYK) Decompression and Class IV laser therapy heals the disc completely. So having the table is part one for getting the relief you need. It will not cure the disc but it will stabilize it. Use this machine for 2-3 minutes completely inverted, if you just use flat or a little more than 180 degrees then you can stay for up to 8 minutes. I caution staying up side down too long as this could change the pressure in the carotid sinuses, which balance blood pressure in your brain, an ultimately be the cause of increased headaches or dizziness. Use slowly in the beginning and be naturally cautious. So this machine is well, made, well constructed. I'm 6'1", 250 lbs and it holds me very comfortably. No reason to spend more money, this one works great! I got mine for $124 you can't beat it, if it lasts 2 years I've got my monies worth! Hope this helps with your decision

Much better than expected
Would have given 5 stars but two small issues should be addressed(mentioned at end). I recently injured my back (L4 and L5 lumbar discs pressing against nerve) and in addition to the physical therapy I'm receiving I decided to be pro-active and order an inversion table. I Already have a doorway mounted inversion bar with boots that I've been using for workouts but it is impossible for me to get on to the bar in my condition. I did a bit of research and noticed that the industry leader is Teeter but that their inversion tables range from $200 to $600. Perhaps those prices are worth it for either professionals or those that must have the best toy but on a feature for feature comparison the Innova ITX9600 appeared to have all the basics covered at much more affordable price. The box arrived yesterday and it is heavy and a bit bulky, in my normal condition it would have been easy to bring up a set of stairs but with the back issue lifting was out of the question. For those of you that have back issues and need to move it on your own I managed by walking the box up the stairs by swinging each corner up to the next riser as if the box was walking on it's own.Packing was good and all pieces were in place with no damage from travel. Unpacking was equally easy but a bit time consuming because every piece has foam and plastic wrap on it...took me about 15 minutes to fully unpack the box.Assembly was easier than expected. The assembly instructions were clearly written with good diagrams and broken down into steps(among the better executed instructions I've seen). A nice touch was that every bolt, nut, washer, and screw were grouped into their corresponding step and vacuum sealed in place with clear item numbering. All the tools necessary were included and were of good quality(not IKEA crap). The two open ended dog bone wrenches worked fine but in hind sight had I used my own ratchet socket wrench set I could have cut the 40 minute assembly time in half.Build quality is much better than expected. With the exception of a few small plastic trim pieces this unit is entirely metal with solid reinforced welds and joints. I weigh 200 pounds and couldn't get a rattle or judder out of the unit. I don't anticipate any issues in the long run.The design is very good and well thought out. Now I've never used an inversion table before but have gone through many home gym and home exercise products and I really can't imagine what $200-$300 more would have gotten for me on competing units. Getting into the Innova is very easy, each user needs to make only one quick adjustment...height. The foot holding assembly is on a long clearly marked rail with both SAE and metric hash marks. The SAE markings are in 1" increments and a convenient spring loaded locking pin under the bottom of the bed is pulled outward while you slide the rail to your desired height, in my case I lock in at the 5' 11" mark. Once the height is set then all you do is climb in, rest you feet on the supporting "T" bar and pull on another spring loaded pin to let the padded and spring tensioned foot clamp to close in on your feet for a snug fit.Once in the unit it is very easy to control inversion. There is a five position angle limiting adjuster that require you to thread in a supplied locking stud, this set up only limits the maximum angle the table will rotate to but does not lock the table in a one specific angle. I found it superfluous since it is so easy reach and maintain angles by just pulling on the side bars. It's very impressive how well balanced the unit is for any height person. As mentioned I'm 5' 11" and my wife is 5' 1" and with the foot rail set to our appropriate heights we both easily were able to lift up, go horizontal and then flip into inversion with minimal effort. I really thought my wife would have a hard time with it in the beginning but she felt so in control that she went straight into 180 degree inversion without a second thought and was easily able to right herself. The foot holding set up is good and fairly comfortable, but not as comfortable as my doorway inversion bar which uses boots that clamp around your feet like snowboard boots. With the doorway set up I was able to hang for as long as I wanted with no fatigue in my feet. With the Innova when I use it barefooted or with socks I find after about 4-5 minutes of 180 inversion that the pressure on the bridge of my feet is uncomfortable and distracting. I then tried doing the inversions wearing a pair of ankle boots and it made a world of difference. The boots add a significant layer of padding and support and now I can do five minutes in full inversion in total comfort, I could probable go much longer but I'm still getting used to the inversion feeling.Overall the Innova ITX9600 is an amazing value, well crafted and designed, and will probably suit the needs of 90% of buyers. My only two critiques which prevented a five star review are the following:a. The units table(bed) comes sealed in plastic and was pre bolted to the complex subframe so that when removing the plastic much of it is pinned in place by all the bolts so you have to tear the plastic around all the mounting spots which was a waste of time and left lots of plastic flaps sticking out which is unsightly. Innova should wrap the bed after it's mounted to the subframe.b. The right side padded arm(the side with the pin adjustments) is held in place with two bolts on the side and a third bolt from the rear for stability. The left side however is only held in place with the two side bolts and no back bolt. As a result, no matter how hard I tighten the side bolts, the bar will shift a little each time I grab it. A third bolt will rectify this.I only have a day and half experience with the Innova ITX9600 but I can say that it is well made, well designed and worth every penny.
