Runs Ubuntu Server 16.04! Good performance
Great little device bought this as a Plex server machine since it is more powerful than my raspberry pi 3. It runs windows or linux and im currently running linux off a 500GB hard disk in a USB 3 enclosure so it does boot from USB. Despite the manufacturer saying you need special firmware for this it will boot to an ubuntu install USB and let you install linux on the internal or external storage. If your'e using this for linux enable UEFI boot mode when you're installing or else it won't boot. Overall amazing little device used as a server with expandable USB storage for the OS.

Great Mini PC for Light Work, Entertainment, and On The Go!
The media could not be loaded. I wanted a mini PC to connect to TV for browsing, watching news, and watching online movies all from the living room. I was looking for something small that I could also possibly take with me on vacation if I needed a multimedia box to connect to TV for offline music/video playing. This little one was exactly what I needed. Here is my thought about it:Dual WIFI (2.4g & 5g):I was looking for a dual band WIFI because after 7pm when everyone use their modem there are a lot of interference that occur with the 2.4g band (since this band it is prone to channel interference) as I have 10 to 15 routers that are very close (with strong signal) close to my unit. That is why I always have to make sure to buy products that support 5g band and since this mini PC supports 5g I have never had any issue with channel interference when coming home and watching tv series online.Note: I read in one of the reviews that this device doesn't have on board WIFI and that is wrong (When a new operating system is installed such as Linux for any WIFI to work one must install the appropriate driver). This mini PC comes with a windows 10 and WIFI driver is installed and working perfectly.Expandable storage (Up to 128GB):I put a 128gb class 10 UIII micro SD with regular SD adapter in the mini PC to expand my storage and it worked perfectly. This is great because with this expansion you can use more of the internal drive memory as a virtual memory and use the SD memory for big size files.Speed & Performance:This mini PC is great for everyday uses such as browsing online, watching videos, playing music, using Microsoft office, multitasking, etc. However, it's not suited for high end games or those games that require high specs such as graphic card. I watch up to 4K resolution video with this box without any issue.Usability:Due to it's small size, this mini PC can be placed behind the TV, under the desk, under the kitchen counter, and even can be taken with you on vacation if you want to turn a regular hotel TV to a computer.Ports:Given its small size it comes with 3 USB ports (2x USB 2.0 and 1 USB USB 3) which is great if you connect wireless mouse and keyboard. So at all times it has 1-2 USB free. The Bluetooth 4 is also great as it can be connected to wireless speaker. HDMI & HDMI are also two ways that this mini PC can be connected to display/monitor. LAN input is handy as well but I use the WIFI.Note: I also read a review that someone was not able to access the BIOS page when booting up. I pressed Esc a couple of times as it was booting up and it went right in the BIOS page. Just make sure your keyboard is connected either via 2.4g dongle usb (for wireless ones) or wired one. Bluetooth keyboard connects when windows boot up that is why such keyboards are not a good choice for any computer if you want to go to the BIOS page (it's fine for everything else).

What's not to like about a $100 computer?
What's not to like about a $100 computer that does what you ask it to?It came with Windows 10 which seems to work just fine, I installed Plex Server, Spotify & I watch Netflix & youtube videos on it. My daughter can play Minecraft, Roblox and hundreds of other games on it.It sits in our RV plugged into a USB hard drive that has a few thousand movies on it that we watch while rolling down the freeway.I've got it plugged into GPS and the RV's OBDII system so we can map our way across the country and watch the vehicle engines statistics. We've had it for a month and have had no problems with it yet.So far so good.

Very easy to set up
Very easy to set up: just attach monitor (VGA or HDMI connection) and USB keyboard/mouse and connected to home network (I used a wired connection). The computer runs through the installation and its ready to go. I am using it to host a music server with attached USB drive to multiple music players around the house.

Works great for what I needed it for!
I actually wanted something i could run Linux on (Ubuntu or something). Instead of hassling with possible driver issues with Linux, I left the installed Windows 10 operating system on it and installed "Oracle Virtual Box" on top of the Windows 10 (it's free). I then installed Xubuntu, a somewhat lighter version of Ubuntu Linux; RedHat bases their supported version of their OS on this "community" version; I downloaded the latest version, 16.x, it's free also, then updated it, on top of the Oracle Virtual Box as a virtual guest and after some network issues were straightened out on the virtual box it's up and running fine. I probably over committed the storage for the virtual machine at 25G, when you only really need about 7GB, but this is really what I wanted it for anyway. I run the Linux VM at run level 3, the command line level, so it saves on the overhead, but you can run the gui also, at run level 5, it worked fine. WiFi works great also (or you can use the wired connection). Oh, I couldn't get the windows RDP to work so I ended up using the free home version of TeamViewer, and that works good, so I don't need another monitor or monitor connection. I can use putty to log into the VM as well (also free). One last update... there is a "VMService" app at sourceforge that will start the Linux VM at Windows boot time as a service... (although the VM is what they call "headless"; but that's ok with me) works good and that is also free ... boom... done :)

Easy setup with just a USB mouse and a monitor. The HDMI port is handy.
This is a nice little unit. I decided to install the included Windows 10 OS. All you need for running the installation is a monitor and a USB mouse. You don't need to type anything if you choose an offline account. Windows provides a screen keyboard if you click the ease of access button during setup, located on the lower left on my screen. I only have wireless keyboards. The keyboard installed easily after Windows 10 installed. I am using the unit as a server for my Davis Vantage Pro weather station. Works great and I am using far less power than the old linux server that crashed. Install RDPwrapper (if legal for you) if you want to remote desktop on to the unit after setup. I may try installing Mint18 on the next one I order.

Good seriously hindered by just 32GB if storage
Plug in a mouse, keyboard and monitor and you're all set! It's amazing that this comes with an activated version of Windows 10 Home for this price. It's a fully functional computer that's great for simple tasks. I'm using it to run digital movie posters from MoviePosterApp.com and it works great.Update: If you decide to keep Windows 10 and never install Linux you'll likely have issues installing the next Windows 10 update. It'll fail the update due to a lack of storage space. Everything I've tried has failed to work so you'll be much better off spending a few more bucks on a 64GB version. I've now changed my rather from 5 stars to 2 due to this very significant issue.

Need wireless driver for Win 10 Pro!
This is my 2nd of these mini pcs that I have purchased through Amazon. The first one that arrived was DOA. Returned that one and the new one is functioning as expected with one notable exception. I am unable to get the broadcom wireless driver to function under Win 10 Pro. I'm using the same driver as was installed under Win 10 Home, but the device manager shows code 10 unable to start. If anyone has a solution to this I'm all ears.Good device for use as a media box, or simple web browsing. I have another one of these deployed in another location, and that one has no issues with the wireless under Win 10 Pro, just this new one that won't start. Very frustrating.

I had it only for a short time and was pleased with the unit overall
I'm sure that this unit is well worth the money. I had it only for a short time and was pleased with the unit overall. I returned it because I wanted to install Linux on it and as it came from the seller, that was not possible. AS DELIVERED TO ME, THIS THING WAS NOT ABLE TO HAVE LINUX INSTALLED ON IT. I was never able to get the computer to boot from anything other than the built in ssd and therefore found it impossible to install my linux distro. I had emailed the vendor prior to making the purchase and they assured me that I could install linux however they failed to advise me that in order to do so, I would have to flash the Bios to a different version. I tried that once before and ended up with a non-functioning block of plastic instead of a nice little working computer. I would not have made the purchase had I known that I would have to reflash the Bios. So, anyone wishing to do an install of linux on this needs to be aware that you will have to flash the Bios to an alternate version. Good luck on that. If you attempt that I advise doing so immediately upon receiving the computer so that you will have a decent window of time to return the device if necessary.

In my house we only have tablets and smart phones. My old computer that we used for basic word prossing broke. I was going to buy a new laptop and I wasn't sure if I want to buy a used one or an old one because everyone use a smart phone and tablets these days. This Mini PC is perfect for $139. All you need is a wireless keyboard and a TV and you're good to go. It's small and compact like an Apple TV or an android box so you can basically use it anywhere.

nicely packaged. Setup was quick and simple
Item was delivered on time, nicely packaged. Setup was quick and simple. It is reasonably quick for such a small PC. It is perfect for someone who only needs a PC for basic web-browsing, email, youtube, etc., and has space constraints and/or would like the option of being able to carry his PC to the office, or when travelling. I would buy from this seller again.
