I had my doubts as to whether this would work, but it's a brilliantly simple device for getting your socks on when you have hip issues

Basic design but brilliant piece of kit makes getting your socks on easy if you suffer with any form of back issue.

I've had hip problems since birth and I've always had to grab the cuff of my trousers and drag my foot into place to put socks on, but with the nasty cold weather and my age creeping up, this has been harder to do.In desperation I feebly googled "how do I put socks on", which ranks as probably the dimmest question I've ever googled. However, first result was this product. Dubiously, I purchased it.This morning I put my socks on in seconds by myself. No having to sit in "the right chair" (exact height has always been a factor), no getting halfway done and asking my husband to help me out.Put the sock on the scoop-looking thing. Foot in scoop. Pull the cords. BOOM. I just put my socks on by myself in seconds.I AM A SOCK GOD.No, seriously, you cannot understand how feeble it makes you feel to have to go sockless through winter because you can't face fighting the pain and lack of mobility, and you don't want to bother your husband. This is a teeny quality of life upgrade that has made a world of difference.

Works well, easier for storage and transport but not sure wether robust em ought to stand daily use.

Very easy to use. I showed my granny the advert, a YouTube tutorial, a live demonstration. She's heavily disabled to a point she can't dress herself. But it made her so happy when I got her this as she can finally do somethingforherselfagain. She uses it everyday 🥰
