Q: Does this have an automatic feeder?

No auto feeder but it’s not too hard to manually feed if can work out which way up film should be. I managed hundreds of photos in a morning and can’t see for me why would need it faster. Yes it was a bit tedious I suppose but results I was really happy with. A wand is supplied to take dust off photos but I used my airbrush instead and auto feed would have not really sped up my work

Q: Can you use this for standard 8mm cine film eg Agfa 8?

I used it for supper 8 films - the film adapter takes 8mm height film. You view one frame at a time. I plugged the device straight into the computer and download the frames onto the computer and therefore did not need a SD card. Each frame can only be saved to 6m - ok, but cannot enlarge the saved image without loss of clarity.

Q: Are your customers hsppy with the negative and slide quality

for the speed, space and simplicity yes. I have been meaning to scan a load of slides and negs for years and never got round to spending much more time on something that takes up more space, needs software and a PC to run, etc. as well as 1 min plus per slide. This quickly got me a half a GB of golden oldies done in an evening good enough for sharing with friends, insta, fb, etc. When I dig out my top pics I suspect I maybe disappointed but... so don’t buy as an alternative to a full scanner, buy if you want to get a load of snaps that you had at 5x7 or 6x4 to better digital quality, but not for 20x16 posters of your masterpieces

Q: does it covert negitives into positive pictures

Slide negatives in and you get an image on the screen then with press of buttons it transfers to disk or internal memory for transfer to a computer. Any printed photo would then have to by uploading that digital copy to a service that prints photos.
