A useful Book for quilting

Every pattern is doing well and attractive, I love them all! Use the turtle one as a guild challenge, and one by one I’m doing the others to have a baby Quilt gift on hand

I liked every thing!!

Ordered this after reading reviews complaining about not being able to copy patterns. I don't understand. The largest are on a pull out, did the first quilt, elephants, with pull out pattern. Worked great. Second one, the hedgehogs are in book, you could lay book on printer to copy, I just used freezer paper and traced! I used this to copy overlay. Designs are beyond awesome! Plan on doing everyone in order. Doing a modified version on needle turn applique, I am using freezer paper cut on cutting line, then adding seam allowances, and then ironing down seam allowances! The freezer paper works great. I did order a Clover fabric folding pen to help with turning under seam allowance. The pen is just a marker with water that helps a lot. I keep the paper on until I'm ready for piece so I know what it is.

The appliqués themselves were very cute and well done. The part I didn’t like was that they were all different sizes. I wanted to create a single quilt with multiple animals from the book. They were far enough off in size that I couldn’t put them together in a quilt of my design. For example, the panda bear was twice the size of the elephant.If you are only looking to make the quilts the author has designed they will work well.

This book, as the other one, arrived timely and in great condition. Again - adorable quilts

I bought this book because I fell in love with the animals. I'm using the turtle quilt as inspiration for a nursery with a turtle theme. So cute. Directions are quick and easy. Let ve it. This book will be used for lots of fun projects.

Nice book with cute patterns but certainly not for me. I’m an experienced quilter and thought I would try my hand at Applique and a baby quilt seemed the way to go so I could focus on appliqué techniques. I felt overwhelmed by the complexity of the patterns, however, and will try something else.
