This switch has worked well so far on my space heater. My space heater switch blew out and this was the perfect fit and specs for what I needed. It was easy to install and it is well made. My space heater is now fixed and working. I have had this for several weeks now and my space heater has been working perfectly since I replaced it with this piece. It has not shorted or blown even after constant use which is great. It works great. Overall this is a decent switch piece to have. It works great and have had no issues with this. It has not blown out or caused any issues. I am not sure if it is meant for space heater but it matches the specs for it and it works.

In less than 20 minutes I had my built in GE microwave working again. Some time the fan would run with the door open, other times counter would count but microwave would not work. Change out all three while you have it open. 2 are normally open (activated when pushed) and 1 in normally closed (activated not pushed, opens when you push it). $9 bucks zI had it fixed, saved $750 for a new one.

Worked perfectly and save me from having to buy a new microwave and having to dump the old one to the landfill.TAKE NOTICE -1-There is danger in working on these things so make sure you know how to handle things like the capacitor!2- There are two different types of these switches. Look closely at the distance between the metal connections to see which one you need3- The plastic brackets that hold the switches are easy to break. Finesse is in order4- I've been told that if you always press stop before opening your microwave rather than stopping the microwave by opening the door; these switches will never burn out in the first place.

(Update 28-March-2025) Direct replacement for the original factory (Starion) primary interlock switch in my GE-JES-1142 Microwave. Installed easy, inexpensive DIY repair, worked fine, kept microwave operational OK. FWIW: Original switch lasted 14.5-years. This replacement switch (N.O. DONGNAN KW3AT-16) lasted 3-years, so having to replace it again...

My Toshiba microwave oven started to give me issues months ago when after opening the door the turn table inside kept turning. The microwave would still work but then last week it finally stopped working altogether. After doing a little research I took the microwave apart and removed the switches and tested them with a multimeter and realized the bottom switch, picture attached, was corroded and not clicking anymore. This is a normally open switch. I replaced it and it fixed the problem.When you get the switches it doesn't say which switches are Normally Open or Normally Closed so I used my multimeter to figure it out. I didn't realize that the terminals are slightly different and that's how you tell which is which. All in all this was a simple and cheap way to fix a microwave without having to purchase a new one. Just remember to take detailed pictures of your wiring.In order to not forget where I put the other switches in case I need to use them, I taped them to the back of the microwave. of this set of 3 switches, two are NO (normally open) and are fine. But in two orders of this item, the NC (normally closed) switch was non-working (stuck closed) right out of the bag.This comes at a good price, but be prepared to order more than once.
