WMF Nuova Egg Spoon Set

These spoons are 4.75 inches long. They are sturdy and shiny. I use them for dainty eating, in sugar bowls, anything where a full size spoon would be overkill. They are named egg spoons, but I will never use them to eat soft boiled eggs directly from the shell.

Excellent set of teaspoons, they are quite straightforward yet elegant in their appearance and can therefore be mixed with a many styles of cutlery sets. The spoons are of the usual quality that you can expect from WMF. So these are dishwasher safe, and very durable (that is, if you unlike our children handle them with care). The set is very nicely presented in a cardboard box, and therefore can serve a a gift as well. We have many WMF kitchen tools and can affirm that they last for years and justify the higher price point. The main issue I struggled with when ordering was the length of the handle and the width of the spoon, many teaspoons are a bit bulky and large. We mainly use them for small desserts and for eating cooked eggs, so we didn’t want the teaspoons to be too sizeable. These WMF teaspoon are of an ideal size in my view.Our children are always reluctantly helpful, assisting with clanging the table after dinner/ lunch. In their rush to get het job done they just wipe their typically half-finished plates clean above the bin. Quite often pieces of cutlery get lost in the process. We were now up to a point we we had lost eight of our ten-piece upscale teaspoon set. So it is was time to replenish.
