Love my buddy mat - previously used sponge one but this is a real step up

Well worth the investment. I needlefelt a lot and I hate the foam pads. They don't last long and doesn't feel right to keep using and throwing away. This is nice to needlefelt on and it's fairly easy to maintain. You do need to sit and scrape/pull oot the fibres left on the mat now and then but that's fine. I have used this for a few months now and I think id have used and thrown away at least a dozen foam mats. This wool mat is long lasting and has plenty of life in it yet. Very happy

Definately worth getting. Had ine of these before but gave it to a friend so had to but another. Last so much longer than just ordinary foam. Cheap foam pads are OK but you end up using so many which is a waste on the environment. Highly recomend these pads and the weight of them means they stay still on your lap when felting. I do a serious amount of felting and so need something that will be a friend for life. This product ticks all the boxes. Woolbuddy is a perfect name! The only reason I gave it 4 stars not 5 is the colour advertised was pink and the one I received was a light peach colour. Not a problem but I prefer the image to match the product I receive. ☆☆☆☆☆ so to sum up I'd give 5 stars to this product.

I had been using foam.which degrades so quickly and is impossible to clean. Now I've moved to this I will never go back, yes it's a bit more expensive but its SO worth it. It's easy to clean, it wears well and creates a stronger base to felt on. Perfect for stencils which I found impossible to do on foam. I honestly am so glad I found this.

Absolutely LOVE this mat.If you are into needle felting you must ditch those awful foam blocks that seem to come with all the kits etc and buy a wool buddy.The difference you feel in felting is amazing, I hate the horrible ‘bounce’ you get on foam mats. There’s no bounce with a wool buddy and the needle seems to penetrate your work better.I only have one of these and clean up the leftover wool with a marigold washing up glove, quick wipe over and it’s good as new.Sometimes my wool buddy getting dents and creases in it from where I’ve concentrated my work, just give it a clean with a marigold and steam iron it... sorted!People have complained that they felt their project to the mat, I’d recommend just lighten your touch a bit and that shouldn’t be an issue.I only use my wool buddy and would never change that. I think they will last years too

I have used many types of felting mays and this one is by far the best and worth every pennyFibers don't stick to it like othersI would highly recommend it

Good solid base for felting

I’m so happy with my Woolbuddy felting pad. It’s a firm but soft working surface. I’ll never go back to using foam again.

I love this felting mat, wool buddy. The surface area is perfect much better than previous mats. I would highly recommended even though more money it’s worth it
