Fantastic purchase, kudos all around! Great scalp shaver at a great price!
This is a great shaver that I purchased specifically to shave my head daily. I’ve found it works well with or without cream or any lubricant. I’ve experienced no post shave irritation or lesions from the blades. While the weight of the product is a little light, more substantial materials might render it more sturdy. Opening the flaps to clean the blades could be easier if the folding covers had tabs for gripping. It’s very easy to use, the shave is close and smooth and it charges quickly and holds the charges for days. The included attachments have proven convenient. Great product, would purchase again. Great bargain considering some of the other head shavers are three times the price of this shaver.

Think hard about it before you buy!
I have had two of these and when they work, they do a good job. After a few months, the first unit would just start running on its own and could not be turned off. I contacted the company and they sent a second on, and that one did the same thing a few days ago. I started a ticket, but have heard nothing. I had to put it out in the garage to let it run down. I plugged it in this morning and it will take a charge, but will not run. The support site is broken and the link returns a 404 error. The live support link also does not work.

Second update:
1/18/25 Update: Battery still discharging after 4 days of not using the shaver. I really don't have to shave my head daily because my hair grows pretty slowly. Freebird customer service saw my review and reached out 1/14. They are sending me a replacement out under warranty, which is appreciated. Hopefully the replacement will hold a charge. Upgraded to 4 stars again for now thanks to the quick customer service.Update 1/14: Battery doesn't hold a charge well. Got 1 shave out of it and have to charge it each time. Now I'm on the fence about if I need to go ahead and file for a replacement or see how it goes, but getting 1 shave per charge is a lil wild.Original: Got it last night and charged it. Woke up this morning to shave and went to work. At first this thing was going through my hair fairly efficiently, but definitely missing a small spot here and there I'd have to run over the same spot a bit to get it.The issue was that by the time I got to the back half of my head, it was missing a lot of hair. Since I got the pro, I just stopped and popped the foils off and found that my hair was clogging the underside of the foils and not collecting in the chamber efficiently.I cleaned the underside of the foils with a brush quickly, and was back in business. To do my entire head required that I do this process twice. Not the worst issue, but my specific hair type doesn't seem to do anything, but clog. I have pretty soft/fine hair that I've kept buzzed/shaved, since I turned 30. It's just the most efficient use of time.I'll also be honest and say I didn't trim right before because I had buzzed and shaved with a razor a week prior. I had short stubble, but now my head looks better than buzzing without a guard using an Andis and closer to razor blade territory. Also, I do have a few small bumps on my noggin and this made short work of the hair regardless and didn't require too much time to get the hair in those areas. I'd say all in...maybe 7-10 minutes. The jury is still out on whether I'll get an electric razor rash, but so far I'm a fan. The noise level is better than my Panasonic beard trimmer or my Andis electric clipper. I did a dry shave and honestly with brushing the foils out, I could have skipped rinsing. The final caveat is the need to replace foils at 50 shaves, but we'll see how that goes. I'd imagine with my hair type, it should last quite a bit longer. I'd assume with thick coarse hair, that would be closer to the truth.Solid 4/5 because it isn't as efficient as I'd like and took a bit of passing over some of the same spots trying to get rogue hairs. Then there's having to brush out the hair three times to get the results I'd like. This will definitely make shaving less of a chore and I'll be more likely to grow out less in-between.

Very Impressed.
This shaver is a great purchase. I just recently shaved my head, and was in need of a good electric shaver. I went to the internet to see what was the top shavers, and I chose Freebird pro. I got it today and it’s so amazing that I had to write this review. If you’re looking for a close shave, I recommend this shaver. Fast, quiet, easy to use and clean.

There are better options
It works, but its nothing special. i used it to shave some of my body before getting a tattoo, im by no means a woolie mammoth but im not a hairless cat either. it shaved the area well, no complaints there. i opened it up to try and clean it, and its just as much as a PITA as others like it. the rotating blade shavers all usually have the issue of pulling some hair, so i expected that but i still dont like it.it is extremely easy to use as a plus, turn it on and rub/go over desired area.my recommendation? in all honesty, go with Manscaped's trimmer/shaver, in your netherregion its extremely nice and will work just as well on the body. i purchased this freebird one to hopefully avoid the need to put a towel down for clean up. it may be good for shaving the head, i cannot speak on that but for body/other areas there are better options

works great even with a broken blade cover
Freebird Flex series works great, Lightweight, shaves head close. However when I took mine out of the box, ! of the small covers for the shave head was off and it will not stay on. it keeps falling off when shaving head. I'd like to believe it happened during shipping, It works great, kind of annoying that now there is one blade that has clippings falling out of it

Money save is money earned.
I just got it today and used it an hour ago. I must say that it works! I’m actually quite impressed my head is smooth as if I just went to the barber. It is easy to clean and the attachments are nice the best one is the clipper especially when you’re cutting your head for the first time. Save your money form going to the barber and pick this bad boy up! What I plan on doing is every time I use it put the money i was gonna use for the barber into a savings account and see how much I have at the end of the year! It pays for itself after the first use!
