First time using this brand and I am delighted.I've been looking for ages for a sustainable beauty brand cleanser that would help improve my skin - especially adult acne around my chin. Impressed with 100% naturally derived ingredients. It is very refreshing and cooling in the morning and has a creamy texture. It doesn’t remove makeup very well so I wouldn’t recommend it for that.After a few days of using this, there is already a notable improvement - more so than other similar products by different brands.It leaves my skin feeling so soft and clean, but not dry and stripped back of all its moisture! It has quite a strong lavender smell but I like it. If you don't like heavily fragranced products maybe this isn't for you.The cleanser is made with microalgae that’s scientifically proven to even skin tone and texture.It comes with a konjac sponge and since it works as a gentle exfoliator, it is a must for any sensitive skin or acne-prone individual. I use it with the konjac sponge and it feels like a little treat to use - a much needed minute of pampering for a busy mum! The reusable packaging is a huge plus and very needed in a world too full of plastic!

This is a really nice cleanser and exfoliating sponge set.The cleanser works well to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. It isn't drying or irritating in any way, so is fine to use once a day or more if you want.Using the cleanser alongside the sponge adds an element of exfoliation, which is really important to me to keep my skin glowing and smooth. Personally, I prefer a slightly more vigorous exfoliator - but the sponge does work well to slough away some dead skin and improve pore congestion.I can't say that this cleanser works better, necessarily, than others I've tried - as I've said, I prefer stronger exfoliators - but it's still very good, and it's great that this company focusses on sustainable and vegan products. We need more companies like that, and I'd encourage anyone to support Beauty Kitchen by buying their (very good) products.

Finding skincare products that work for me can be a bit of a struggle as most face wash/cleansers can be bad for my skin. Anything too fragrant can irritate my skin and others can a make it really dry. I must admit, the thought of applying a cleanser on my face with seahorse planton within seemed a bit crazy as I had not read about the benefits it can provide. But after trying it for around a week it has really worked for me and I am loving it so far. The smell isnt the most pleasant, it smells like a mixture of the sea and gone off cream but once applied and splashed off with water it is gone. Aside from the smell the consistency is really nice and is creamy/milky texture which feels luxurious when rubbbing on your face. It doesnt lather that much but it feels really refreshing and hydrating after using. Probably one of the best cleansers I have used and will carry on using this for the near future. As for the sponge, that is also great. Before getting wet it is rock hard but when you submurge it in water it goes really nice a soft. When using it is very exfoliating but not harsh or damaging. Overall this is really good set and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality cleanser.

In this set you a have cleanser which has an unusual smell, it's seaweed so reminds me of the sea. It cleanses the face well. It has a sponge that is rock hard dry and squidgy when wet. It's a natural sponge so it's good for the environment. It's supposed to help exfoliate the skin. My skin felt clean after use but nothing amazing.I don't think I would buy this again.

I am a big fan of Beauty Kitchen products.I love that they are an eco company using only ingredients you would find naturally.I love that they are a British company and also that they use recyclable packing for all their products.The konjac sponge is just in a small cardboard box. The sponge is great for gently exfoliating and cleansing my face. It is 100% natural and when it is no longer ant use it can go in the compost bin.The cleanser comes in an aluminium, fully recyclable container with a push pump dispenser.It is a creamy cleanser so doesn't dry out the skin at all and gets all makeup ff easily.The cream has a mild lemon aroma and is very gentle on the skin.I love this and would buy it again next time I need a cleanserr

The gift pack I received contained one bottle of Revitalising Gel Face Cleanser and one Konjac Sponge for the price of £22.50. I was really impressed by the environmentally friendly focus of this company and the fact that the products are cruelty free.The gel cleanser is really lovely and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. The smell of the gel is a little overpowering during application but the texture of the product feels really luxurious.Using the gel alongside the sponge means my skin is gently exfoliated as the gel is applied. Just be sure to soak the sponge in water first! This would make a really lovely gift, though you would have to box it up yourself as it just came in a plain cardboard box.

I often give beauty or skincare for presents as I always feel it’s nice to introduce friends and family to new brands or to get them something they might not have got themselves. This is a good gift set for those who are vegan or interested in sustainability and eco friendly products and lifestyle.The sponge itself is made of vegetable fibres and although it’s coarse when dry, it becomes very soft when wet and it feels great on the skin. It’s effective for removing cleanser or other skincare products when used with water.The cleanser comes in a metal bottle which can be refilled and reused. The product itself has a gorgeous scent which the brand say is inspired by a summer campfire - but not like a burning smell! The cleanser is very effective at removing make up and leaving the skin feeling refreshed without feeling tight or irritated.
