good symphonic rock but the lyrics look wrong in grammar
The lyrics of this album have many sentence which have fault in grammar. The voice of the band look similar with Thailand rock singer called Pathompong Sombatpibool.

Absolutely incredible musicianship and talent on display here
Absolutely incredible musicianship and talent on display here. Syu is a true guitar hero and virtuoso player. The rest of the band is great too. You really won't regret getting this if you like power metal. it's a classic.

superior epic title track. but very little else we've never heard before
Prior to Angel of Salvation, Galneryus released two similar great albums - Resurrection ("R") in 2010 and Phoenix Rising ("PR") in 2011. To me, Galneryus faced a challenge in following up an album that was so similar to its predecessor. Consider these examples: "R" is to Oceanborn as "PR" is to Wishmaster; "R" is to Visions as "PR" is to Destiny; "R" is to Hatebreeder as "PR" is to Follow the Reaper. All three follow-up albums - Century Child, Infinite, and Hate Crew Deathroll - showed the bands changing.I went into Angel of Salvation with this unavoidably in mind. I +wanted+ to hear something I hadn't heard before. Three albums in a row too similar to one another would cause me to shy away from Galneryus. For such an unbelievably gifted group of musicians, Galneryus is quickly turning into a predictable band for me. This is my third album in a row by them and my third overall. I'm starting to long for something to grab me in a way that no Galneryus song has thus far (at least not on these last three albums).Naturally, when I saw a 14-and-a-half-minute title track, I became very excited. Then, when I opened up my 6-fold special edition digipak and saw that Akane Liv of Liv Moon does guest vocals on it, I really said "Woah!"I was listening to the album, and then this song came on. Dude. I'm just speechless. This one song leaves everything else in the dust. It doesn't drag on at all. It is a perfectly fit song to be so long. Only once around the 6-minute mark did I briefly suspect that this was a song getting dragged on. But it truly is epic in the sense that yes, you have a chorus (or two), but the song goes from A to B. Liv's moments don't come until the very end - brand new, yet repeated thenceforth, lines that are sung together by Sho and Liv. She doesn't come through too easily; Galneryus hasn't changed in order to welcome her. She's a high-caliber vocalist, but has a very small part in this song. I am +pretty+ sure it is actually her who appears in the 7 ½-minute music video for this song.At this point, I probably don't need to type "I love the title track." Little else on this album leaves a significant impression on me. "The Promised Flag" opens the album with lyrics that recall "Darkest Hours" from the Elysium album by Stratovarius ("I've made it through the Darkest Hours of my days"). This 6 ½ minute positive-as-could-be opening track is wearing thin on me.There's also "Stand Up For the Right," my third and final standout track. Three words: very powerful chorus!! Definitely the type of song that will intensify any workout tenfold. Syu steps a little aside from his virtuoso guitar displays and really lets this song take off. The verses express adversary; the speaker is not happy about the demeanor of a particular someone:"Why are you so selfish?Your manner does not changeWhy are you so foolish?Your very strange thought does not change"And then the chorus includes the line, "Demand an apology from you." This is a change from Galneryus's typical "be extremely happy about everything and always look forward to a positive future." I like it! It's something to look forward on the album.Aside from the lyrics in "Infinity," there isn't much else on this album that I'll come back for. "Angel of Salvation" (the song) is on my iTunes/iPod and that will do me well. I see myself only grabbing the CD when I want to hear "Stand Up For the Right," "The Promised Flag," and maybe "Infinity."Galneryus closes the album with their traditional 2-minute+ instrumental track. This one is five minutes, and contains the same melodies as the title track that precedes it. In a way, this particular instrumental serves as an extension to the already-lengthy title track. This tradition of Galneryus is beginning to wear on me. Can't instrumentals showcase something different? After having heard this album, Galneryus continues to strike me as a band who lives too much in one [usually neoclassical] atmosphere: Syu's virtuoso guitars. I appreciate his talent very much. But it is getting rather tired to hear his talent in the same types of songs over and over and over again.
