I received a lot of compliments in this dress. The only thing to consider is if you have a nice backside, it will have the dress raised in the back. The sleeves were kind of tight but other than that I loved it.

Lovely dress, great for probably 2-3 wears. The beads aren't super secure, and the inner fabric is pretty thin, but it doesn't look like a cheap dress. I plan to wear this for a 20s party and again for Halloween, and maybe for New Year's if it's still intact. I'm delighted to say it doesn't need Spanx or any kind of special bra, so it's very easy to wear.A note on sizing: this brand's sizing is wonky. I got several styles in a Large for my 135 pounds (32D) based on reviews, even though I usually wear a S/M. All the floor-length dresses were huge in the chest and waist, but skimmed my hips nicely (but were way too long). The knee-length dresses, on the other hand, fit perfectly top to bottom, even though they came to my lower calf. Go figure.

Size details: 5’9”, 175 lbs, 34DD, measurements are 39/32/43Firstly, the quality of stitching of the overlay was decent apart from a few loose threads. The slip underneath was a satin/polyester feel that was somewhat stretchy. Since I’m quite tall, I read all of the comments and reviews before choosing to order the XL (the largest possible size). The size chart would have recommended a L, but I wanted to play it safe and knew I could get it taken in if needed. This dress will be for a wedding, so I want it to look elegant and fit well.Unfortunately, the dress was too tight in all the wrong places. The slip underneath was too tight and rode up my backside because of my natural curves. Also, the design of the sequins accentuated so much that my hips looked like they wouldn’t even fit through the Suez Canal. It also hugged my natural pooch in the front, which my food baby from lunch did not appreciate. It’s really a shame because this dress wold have been great for my friend’s wedding. Assuming you would want this to have a historically accurate fit, all women who are taller than average and/or curvy should avoid. Even if you’re on the petite side, I would order a size up just in case.

Honestly this dress exceeded my expectations.It is absolutely stunning & fit perfectly. (I’m 5’0 & ordered a small)Never wanted to take it off & I’ll definitely be wearing it on more occasions other than Halloween!
