BoyeRound Knitting Loom Set, 7pc, 5.5", 7.5", 9.5", and 11.5" D

I had never loom-knitted before and thought it looked like fun. I like these looms and have made several caps and scarves. I gave 4 stars instead of five because pegs occasionally do come out. I just push them back in and continue knitting without it messing up my project.

Never tried a loom before, this manufacturer has videos on YouTube that are easy to follow, my 1st hat was done in just a few hours

Looms had many rough spots on the undersides that could snag yarn. Largest loom had stress marks around many of the post holes indicating too much pressure was used to insert them. Not the quality product I expected from this brand.

I started with the Zippy Loom because it looked really easy, then a week later I stepped it up to this set based on a You tube review/tutorial. I really like the set. Most tutorials are made using a Knifty Knitter loom, but I think this set is better because you can remove the pegs and change colors, which comes in very handy when doing complicated patterns. Each color peg can represent a certain stitch. The only problem I do have is when they come out when you pull to hard due to a tight stitch. Although, I guess it's better than having a broken peg. Overall, I highly recommend this set. It's very well made. I've made about 6 scarves and 6 hats in one month and am still going strong. Yea, Boye!

I make hays with them. This is the 4th set I have purchased. I keep giving mine to others interested friends.

Instruction sheet was wrinkled and hard to read until much flattening. Hook had a bad nip on end which dug into my palm. Tried sanding it down then finally covered with stretch therapy tape to complete the project. Did not want to return due to rush order for charity baby hats, so suffered through that part. Excellent looms in great sizes. Boye has always been a good brand for my needs. I will find a way to use shrink tube or something to make the rough place more tolerable.

Very nice little rounds. I’m new to knitting so I didn’t expect them to be so big but they work perfectly. A little annoying the knitting needles pop out every once in awhile but they’re easy to put back in.

Tried knitting with needles with no success. Knitting with a loom was easy. Several UTube videos with different projects to make. Having fun making hats, scarves, dog sweaters,......... HIghly recommend

The tips of these looms have a crochet hook-type head. This makes it hard once you have knitted over the peg to push the loop back down before starting the next row. The plastic on some pegs has rough edges, which catch on the wool. I have just started loom knitting and find this very frustrating. I will need to buy another brand of looms. This is too bad, because the looms themselves are very sturdy.

I had heard from an experienced person that you need the posts to be somewhat squishy ( if plastic can “give” or flex ) and not be slippery and shiney. These looms are the desirable texture so stitches can be manipulated without premature movement and no struggle!!!!!!

delivered on a Sunday. much bigger than thought they would be. if you have a square and round set the smallest is a lot bigger than them. I needed one to make nests for the wildlife centre near me has they need lots, for the birds who have lost there nest for many reasons. Also the small animals to keep them warm and together till they get bigger. I have knitted nests but I wanted to try making them on the loom. if I need another round loom I will buy these again. well sturdy and chunky defiantly not flimsy and hard to use.

More instructions would have been appreciated....
