Part of the charm of making a cutting board is its usefulness, plus it makes a great gift. The challenge is to make several boards of the same shape. To simplify the process, we have created templates in several shapes that allow you to easily make repetitive designs. The 1/2" MDF boards provide a solid surface for holding the bearing or guide bushing. Making your own repetitive shapes has never been easier! Simply trace out the cutting board using the templates and rough-cut them. Then, using double-sided tape, templates and a router with a flush-trim bit, trim the boards to the final dimensions. When using the two-piece template, make two of each shape so the puzzle pieces will fit together to make a large square or use individually as coasters or trivets.
