Good purchase
I mean...it's litmus paper. it's not like it has a WHOLE LOT to reflect on for it to be a 5 star. I leave few 5 stars, but it does 100% as it was made for..it is a dob of paper pulp, soaked in litmus, then segemented out for each category, to reflect the values by color...it is the same thing we did in the 70s just more user friendly now (We used to have to use a color chart in a box, after we applied litmus to a strip of paper, that was then dipped in to a water sample with control chemicals added for each different test...so yah, a lot easier now :P )it was FAR cheaper than other products with enough strips to last the year

Accurate enough to check for ok chemical balance
Fairly accurate; not as precise as store test, but close enough to know if pool chemical balance is ok between trips to the pool store. Examples: pH was measured at pool store to be 7.4; strip matched between 7.2 and 7.8, with color about mid-way between the two extremes. Alkalinity was 100 at pool store; strip matched the 80-120 region, with color about mid-way between the two extremes. Expiration date is 2.5 years from purchase (3 years from manufacture); instructions say to use strips within 150 days, but I'll have leftovers this year, so I'll see how they do next season.

Test Strips You Can Trust
So so so easy to use. I will say I’m not colorblind. These strips are easy to use, you just dip it in and then compare the colors on the bottle. The readings have always been accurate and the sheer amount of strips for the price is amazing. I use this every single day and it has never failed me. PH levels and other markers are important to ensure skin health and hot tub safety. These strips are sturdy and don’t flop over from the weight of the color changing stickers. Definitely a must have for those needing an easy way to maintenance a hot tub or pool.

Handy but Not Perfectly Accurate
These test strips are convenient for quick pool checks, covering chlorine, pH, and more. They’re not always spot-on compared to liquid tests, but they’re great for everyday monitoring. A useful tool, just don’t expect lab-level accuracy.

Accurate results!
Seems to be very accurate. I have used these strips for several years, yet I still take a water sample to the pool store every weekend. The test results from these strips closely match what I get from the pool store. The directions on the product package recommends storing the test strips in a "cool dry" place. Truth be known, These strips have been left outside for a couple years - temps have ranged from around 0F to over 100 F. Seems the suns UV's have degraded the print on the bottle - that is the only reason I'm replacing them.

Nice, easy, accurate test strips.
These test strips seem to work really well. Just dip them in the pool water, wait a few seconds and compare the colors on the strip to the colors on the bottle, which are much easier to compare than some of the other test kits I've had in the past..... on these ones the color changes on the strips are much more in line with what they look like on the bottle so are a lot easier to get accurate levels to make the needed adjustments.... and then verify the changes.... nice.

good product
These are great. They measure multiple things at one time, yielding their results in 15 seconds. It is a little tricky to simultaneously identify the color results of several tests, but it's good that they are so versatile. As far as I can tell, they are accurate and give us the ability to check on the chemistry of our hot tub as often as we wish.

Did not last long in bottle
Not sure about these. I test my pool twice a week on average. These strips seem to degrade over a couple of months and get "bleached out" before you can use them all. After I noticed this I ended up testing them against Leslie's brand and Leslie's testing at the store and they were way off. Having said that, I do keep them outside but closed tightly and in deep shade, and I am fanatical about not contaminating them, but then again I live in Phoenix. So maybe the heat is a factor.
