I installed this on an 87 Dodge Dakota. It fit well, but the instructions made a mistake. For all dodge trucks (datota isn't listed separately) the instructions tell which tabs to remove, but the tab in the lower right corner SHOULD NOT be removed for this truck. There is a screw in the lower right corner of the dash radio opening that you will loosen and this tab sits down over top of it. I also taped a piece of rubber hose to help support the back of the radio. This piece was cut from an old air compressor hose and was probably about 3/4 inch outside diameter. To remove the necessary tabs, a fine tooth hacksaw blade worked well.

Put it In 98 grand Cherokee used the holes that lined up with my holes put dash back together and deck is crooked set at an angle higher on drivers side then passenger

Only one I could find to update the old factory radio in the 1st gen dakota.. After looking at the way its made it was a snap to make it work. I did not get any instructions with mine..Id buy a second one if need be

Not even close to fitting Jeep Wrangler 1999 when it’s listed as use for that model. Junk! And there are lots of the same fir less money!
