Great cleansing balm. Fab for dry skin Removes make up like a dream.

This is a fantastic makeup remover! It does leave your face a little greasy afterwards HOWEVER, if you wash with a nice face wash/soap after using this product it's just fine. I also use a washcloth to remove the product as it's water resistant. Hope this helps! Wonderful stuff for the price!

Almost impossible to wash off. I have delicate skin with pores that clog easily and this is the worst for me. The cleansing balms that rinse off work much better for my skin type.

I have used the regular version of this product for several years. It is great. Removes makeup and deep cleans. This inversion is good balm for makeup removal but does not clean as deeply. Still a good product but the original is best.

I actually read the reviews for this after I ordered it. Mmm. Not a good thing. When I got it, I waited a day or 2 to try it because of that. BUT, I tried it last night and it felt very soothing to my dry skin just putting it on. I did wash/wipe it off with warm water on a washcloth and anything left on my skin was minimal. My face just felt soft and clean and most important for me was that it did not irritate my sensitive skin at all. I actually put a little more on to use a moisturizer when I went to bed and this morning my face was soft and smooth. Love it! If you have dry, sensitive skin give this a try and hopefully you will be as satisfied with it as I am. With my skin it is always "less is more" theory and I have to keep things simple. Additives usually make it irritating. No problem with this at all.UPDATE: 1-13-25 Still using this every night and still loving it! Soothing and non-irritating. All good.

This product looked like a dupe for Clinique's Take the Day Off at a much lower price, so I gave it a try. In a way it is similar. A small amount of product almost liquefies in your hands and does a great job of removing makeup, including mascara, without burning your eyes. The downside is that it is very hard to wash off. It is a vaseline type consistency that does not dissolve in water even when followed by a foaming cleanser. There is definitely a residue that is supposed to moisturize, but I didn't like the feel of it. The label claims that the product is non-comedogenic, but I still feel like it is clogging my skin. The trick is to use cotton pads to remove most of the product, then wash, but that seems like an unnecessary step to me. I am planning to keep the product because it does a nice job of removing eye makeup, but I won't buy it again or recommend it as a daily full face cleanser.

I absolutely love this makeup remover balm! There is no odor and it turns into an oil quickly so you can get it into the skin. It takes off even waterproof makeup. I can even open my eyes with it on my lashes. I will definitely order this again when I’m out. Dies just as well if not better than the big bougie name brands.

I would not purchase this, again. It removes makeup, but has to be removed with washcloth. It was much too greasy. I prefer a balm that rinses off with water. In that sense, this is just a cleansing cream. It does leave your skin moisturized. It also comes in large jar.
