Inherited an El Camino when my Dad passed away. 383 stroker we built 3 times before being happy with it. Was carbureted, switched to the Sniper, Dad used pretty much all the same brackets for the swap, against my advice. Now that it’s mine, used this to clean up and smooth out the linkages going to the Sniper. Very easy, good quality and functions well. The black appearance helps it blend in with the black air cleaner, valve covers, intake, etc. Definitely worth the price and super easy to install!

I bought this bracket kit for my 1977 Corvette L-82. The car had an Edelbrock Torker manifold and an Edelbrock 1405 carb when I bought it. Someone installed the stock Chevy accelerator cable bracket. I needed a drop base air cleaner for hood clearance, but the bracket was in the way. This bracket sits lower and gives me the clearance I need. The only reason i gave this four stars is the socket head cap screws are a little too short to reach the nylon ring on the lock nuts and the hardware is metric instead of standard. If the nuts work their way loose, I will replace them with slight longer ones.

So I’ve looked high and low, and I found a lot of different companies that make the same bracket for all different prices. So far this was the best priced and best reviewed that I could find. That said, I have a HOLLEY sniper 2 and a Gear Star 200 4r transmission With a kick down cable. I’m using a LOKAR throttle cable.The Holley Sniper throttle assembly attaches a lot higher than most standard carburetors or the Holley Sniper 1. The throttle cable mounting bracket on the 304147 is flush to the base plate of the throttle body. For that reason I had to elevate the mounting bracket for my throttle cable 3/4 inches higher than the actual 304147 base plate.I used 3/8 stainless tubing I had laying around and made my own spacers. I obviously had to buy some new hardware as well.As you can see in the pictures, it came out perfect, but for sure took some time.

I have a custom car, mostly a Frankenstein, ‘49 Ford with a carbed Vortec 350. Imagine the fun trying to get a throttle linkage and kick down cable installed.This product solved it all.Quality is great. Looks great. Works well.Definitely worth the money.

The front of the bracket comes into contact with the accelerator pump for the primary bowls. I essentially cut the front of the bracket only using the rear portion. Would’ve went with a different option if I had realized it would not have fit before I ordered.

This little kit really bridges the gap when it comes to assembly of the throttle cables. There are enough parts to get the job done. Very intelligent design.
