I recently purchased this set of 72 colored pencils and I am incredibly impressed, especially for the price range.The quality is truly amazing for what you pay. You get a fantastic range of 72 colors, which offers great variety for different projects.I've already sharpened several of the pencils, and the tips haven't broken at all, which is a common issue with some colored pencils. This set feels durable and reliable.If you're looking for a high-quality alternative to more expensive brands like Prismacolor but don't want to spend a fortune, these are an excellent choice. They perform really well and are a great value for the money.Highly recommend, they blend quite smoothly,the colors are vibrant and lay down nicely and, they work really well for illustrating and adding bright colors to drawings.

For the price and what they are- a basic colored pencil in lots of shades, these are great.I use and buy only the highest quality art supplies. Bought large sets of prismacolor brand often in the last 40 years, these are not quite as smooth, no waxy or creamy build-up. These are not the powdery soft Blick set- What someone said in another review, I would agree with. The quality is a bit better than crayola, the color choice, particularly true reds, definately higher. Id putthem between a prismacolor and a crayola interms of laydown, blendability. Which makes them a fantastic value at less than $10.I dont believe in giving kids- or any begining artist- cheap quality supplies. These- I use and they can use. Create to your heart's content, guilt free without worrying you are going to use up something expensive. Recommend.

They're okay for a budget pencil. I've been a loyal Prismacolor user and lately I've seen several people mention how great these are so I decided to try and I didn't think they were that great! Firstly, one of the pencils is labeled wrong, says "coconut green" and on the chart it shows as "pale green". So quality control is lacking. Secondly, they break constantly in every manual sharpener I tried!Also, I didn't think the color variety was evenly distributed. Too many of one color, not enough of others. IE: ONLY TWO PURPLES?! UGH. As far as blendability, these don't blend as well as I had hoped! I recently purchased a similar set, at a a much lower price by the brand: IBAYAM, and these don't blend half as well as those do! The pigment itself isn't very vibrant either :(Overall I don't think I'll buy more of this brand. Shame. I really wanted to love these!

Decent set of colored pencils for the price. I included a picture of my own color swatch with RGB values if it helps anyone out. I like to use that to find similar colors for shading purposes.Note: Pencil 103 (at least in my box) says Pale Green on the box, but Coconut Green on the pencil. The color swatch on the back of the box does not match the pencil color either. Not a big deal, just a small error.

I found my pencils!! I'm so impressed and excited that I too can have Prismacolor quality - on MY budget! These pencils are far superior to other budget brands I've tried. They are creamy and rich, lay down and blend easily and sharpen to a great point without breaking.The day after I ordered the 50 pack, the 72 pack went on sale so I got those too for $9.98! I wanted just a few more greens and blues etc. lolI doubt I'll ever buy another brand!

Amazing amazing pigmentation. These are so far the best. Although with more pigmentation comes less durability, meaning the lead part wears or more quicker than other coloring pencils. But to me that's a proud of how pigmented they are. Coloring has become a great and happy activity for all ages in our house. I have saved these colors on my list. Will not be purchasing other brands anytime soon.
