Great for teaching phonics
I am a early years teacher and I absolutely love these. These are great to use for teaching phonics - the names of letters and their sounds. The only problem with some of the objects is that they are not phonetically correct to match the sound e.g for “t”There is a train - but train is a “ch” sound, a telescope, tap or turtle would have been good, the “x” was a xylophone which is a tricky one as we teach the sound “x” at the end of the word “b-o-x” it’s nothing a problem as you can put in your own objects into the acorns if you wanted too. I love that they have the capital letter on the front and the small letter under the hat of the acorn. Great value for money!

Educational and fun
The lids are a little flimsy & don't always click shut so I have to help my 4 year old do this but he loves playing with it, hours of fun telling me all of the items within the acorns, Great fun.

Great Toy
Absolutely brilliant toy.Such a simple yet clever idea.I bought for my daughters 2nd birthday. She loves the acorns and little toys inside. She has to be monitered whilst playing with them as the toys are small but she enjoys putting them in and out of the acorns and as she gets older she will be able to do more with colour coding and matching the toys with the letters.Recommended.

I bought this for my 4yr old son who has autism & GDA, to help with letter and colour recognition & he absolutely loves it! It has helped him recognise & use new words in a short space of time. Can't fault it at all. Definitely worth the money ❤

Rooms for improvement
Beautiful educational toy although with rooms for improvement. Solid and the concept is is great but: the letters on the nutshells are not shiny moreover there's not a stand where you can organise them so the search is longer; the little figures aren't much detailed making them a bit tricky to recognize. Not worth the money
