A good product at a very reasonable price.
My whiteboard arrived quickly and in good condition. Mounting was easy with the enclosed screws. H+S fridge magnets adhere strongly to the board and Berol DryWipe pens provide good clear marking - and wipe clean easily with no residual marks left behind, no water or alcohol needed. I have removed the pen tray because I do not need it. (Pens, magnets and board wiper purchased separately)This board does everything that I need it for and does it well, so I can see no point in spending out on a more expensive example. Very good value for money.Incidentally I have attached my board to a couple of wooden bars in a room divider and so the brushed metallic finish on the rear of the board is visible. As a bonus the back accepts fridge magnets as well as the front..

Good small whiteboard but .......
This is a good, small whiteboard, ideal for putting on the end of a cupboard in the kitchen..... HOWEVER 1) it arrived with a small dent in it, I couldn't be bothered to send it back, 2) the pen holder only works when it is mounted horizontally, I wanted it vertically, but hey ho. I just bought some magnetic markers.

Can't attach shelf in portrait
The whiteboard itself is perfectly adequate for the price.Fitting is pretty simple, EXCEPT: if you mount it portrait, the pen shelf is too long for the groove into which it needs to fit, so it can't be attached. Pretty basic design flaw.Luckily, I have magnetic pens.

Love it! You could position the white both landscape ...
Love it! You could position the white both landscape or portrait as well as attach the small shelf. I would suggest to buy smaller pens though as they do not fit on the shelf as it's rather "small". Personally, I don't use the shelf as much as I think it's a nuisance but that's just my opinion.I attach post it notes on the board as well which is quite useful. I treat it like a cork board for notification when necessary. I think it's a perfect size however!Fitting the whiteboard might be an issue but what I did was use a picture hook and just used panel pins I found in my tools box (its really cheap tho) and just to easily hang it on the wall. Where the aluminium shelf hangs, that's where the picture hook will fit nicely. The advantage of this is that, I attached picture hooks in 2 different rooms so I could easily move the whiteboard around the house - one on my bedroom and the other in my study room. The disadvantage of this however is you would have to slightly balance it when placing it but after that - if it's not touched then it would not move. Lastly, since it's like a picture, it's quite hard to write on it especially since it's not firmly stuck on the wall but this is not really an issue for me as I just take the whiteboard down and then write on it.Personally, I prefer this method since I don't have to drill large holes on my wall and it makes it very versatile and taking it off is very easy which is what I want.I bought it along with the "Rybond Office Round Magnets - Fridge Magnets" which worked well together put I found that there was too many magnets to fit nicely on the whiteboard but you could use the rest on your fridge.

Perfect for my needs
This was purchased to go onto the freezer door out in my garage, the idea being anything that goes in the freezer is listed on the board so at a relative glance i know what is in the freezer and how old it is. Useful for knowing what you need to purchase to top it up and also knowing which item is the older so they can be used before a newer item.Whilst this came supplied with fixings i used double sided tape to fix to the door. it replaced a similar but smaller board that had worn to the point of being impossible to clean.this board fits well to my freezer, is pretty much perfect in size for my needs and does the job as intended, and was a decent price too, so big thumbs up from me!!

A great budget whiteboard, as long as you remove the membrane
My expectations of a "budget" magnetic dry wipe board with pen tray were not particularly high - I expected that it would be magnetic and that it would have a writing surface that could be dry-wiped, with a pen-tray and some kind of plastic border with edges as shown in the photo. It arrived quickly, and was well packaged. Yes, it is magnetic. And it has a pen tray and a plastic border. The corners need to be taken off to access the mounting points, then refitted - and they don't refit very tightly (I suspect they may fall off if the process is repeated a few times - but after all it is a "budget" item - I can cope with that). The first one received had a dent in the writing surface, but Amazon Customer Services sent a replacement **extremely quickly** (I was very impressed). When unpacking, if you are lucky there will be a sticker attached to the writing surface saying "Before used, please ripe off the plastic protecive membrane after cutting carefully around inside of aluninum frame with utility knife" (all spelling mistakes faithfully reproduced). This sticker is very firmly attached to the membrane and you can't miss it. However - WARNING - the sticker might not be there, and the membrane is so thin and so perfectly adhered to the writing surface that you really won't see it. All you'll know is that the "dry wipe" surface doesn't dry wipe, and dry-wipe pens don't write very well. Don't panic - just run a (very) sharp craft knife around the inside of the frame (this requires an act of faith - you won't realize you're cutting anything at all) and then use the tip of the knife to probe at the edge somewhere until you find you can lift up a tiny bit of very thin membrane. It's quite strong, so once you've got a tiny bit dislodged it becomes easy to pull the whole lot off. Then you'll have a perfectly good dry-wipe surface.
