These work really well
They work really well & a good price too

very useful tool
bought 2 of these items - one from another brand- not sure which would be better.For sure it is very light and does not snag the brick line downhowever if the line is in place its difficult to hook in , so best hook it in first.regards accuracy - you have to be sure that it is sat right and it works - very slight bump on the line and it will not be accurate.The hooks themselves seem quite robust - not bent or brokenYou have to remember this a "guide" to the line and not meant to be accuarte to the mm, if thats what you want then best get a laser or use an old fashioned spirt level

is what it is, not much more to add.
give you an indication of what the fall in ground is over a larger distance than possible with a standard level. Not sure how precise it really is, but only really bought it to give an indication for a fence job to gauge the fall in ground level. I'm sure it is fine and dandy for these kind of jobs.

Ordered 2 - 1 was not calibrated
Ordered two of these and really happy with the built quality but whilst one was perfectly fine one was not calibrated correctly - giving different readings when turned 180 degrees. However, for garden levelling should still be fine.

Why did I only just discover these! Very useful
Just happened to see these whilst browsing Amazon and never knew such a thing existed. They have saved me a lot of faffing around with my back-yard patio project (although there's still lots of faffing tbh!) and getting a level over a 4sqm patio area. Really easy to hook to a line and get a level although, as you'd expect, the line has to be taught. They look a bit flimsy but they have to be lightweight and I do take care of these little tools to keep them accurate. Good price point and effort saver, would buy again if needed similar
