Excellent stew pot. We use it to make "turkey rice" for our dogs. We can make a huge batch and freeze portions. Easy to clean, nice looking, heats well. We also use it to sear roasts, make stews.

The pan is BIG and holds 3 extra-large leg quarters without crowding. The inside dimension is 11.75 (The box says 11.8 inches).The non-stick coating cleans easily. I only intend this pan to be used for soups, no frying or anything else so I expect the interior coating to last a long time.I boiled 3 leg quarters and then reduced the broth and it left a ring or two around the edges, which cleaned up easily with just a dish cloth in soapy water. The coating looked perfect after washing.Other reviewers complained about the loose lid knob, and I had to tighten mine twice. If that continues I can just add a drop of glue to the screw. If that doesn't work I could possibly find a different knob at a goodwill. This pan is worth it.I love this pan so far. It's made out of aluminum which makes it lightweight and the interior coating is non-toxic. The only issue is the metal handle and how thin it is where it attaches to the pan. It may be fine but only time will tell. I don't plan on lugging it around with food in it so it should be okay. If I did, I could just lift it from the bottom instead. The handle itself is amazingly beefy.It was hard to find a pan that was this wide and 5 inches tall. I searched a long time to find it and so far, I'm very happy with it.

I wasn't sure if I would like this-I got it for the size but I've never used ceramic before. It's now my favorite pan! Nonstick, large (I have a big family) and light weight. I am very happy with this purchase!

Wow, what a beautiful pot with superior functioning. It heats evenly and gives you room to stir large quantities of food. I have so far made several soups and recently a large batch of chili. Stand back, I'm about to make more.

I was looking for a large wide-base non-stick cooking pot as it helps with reducing gravy without overcooking which happens in narrow-base pans as heat is concentrated in a smaller area. This cooking pot was perfect as it was exactly what I was looking for.Pros:1. Large size (12-inch diameter) - Good for sautéing vegetable like okra which needs high temperature and wide heating surface to eliminate the natural okra slime.2. Ceramic non-stick coating3. Esthetic appearanceCons:1. Discoloration of inside non-stick coating. I will not take a star for this as I have read that it is common for ceramic coating to acquire color of food.2. The biggest issue I have is the warping of cooking surface once it heats up. It can be clearly seen from the images how oil stays flat when the pan is cold vs. collection of oil around the circumference when it heats up thereby raising the inner region of the heating surface. I added cumin seeds to the pan which leaves no doubt on the warping. This is a serious issues as thermal cycling will induce stress in the non-stick coating and could crack it. So far, it is looking ok but I will update my review if the coating peels off. I am taking a star off for this design flaw.
