We had an incident at work when first aid needed to be administered to a client who had collapsed . Whilst I was not present initially, I was asked to assist as I am medically trained. Staff were not really sure how to initiate first aid and had panicked due to feeling completely overwhelmed. Following the incident, we took time to reflect on what had happened and how things could be improved. The client had thankfully regained consciousness, and paramedics turned up fairly quickly so we did not need to use CPR. This poster can be used for the step by step guide on the ABC stages of resuscitation and is a good guide for non-medical areas.I ordered this poster after the incident and it is now on a wall at work. The staff who were present at the incident have found this poster very useful and they now feel more confident about dealing with a similar event should it happen again. Another person on here has mentioned having a space on the poster to write in details of the nearest defibrillator station, this would be beneficial to have and is a really good point.The poster is cleaner and understandable, it is moderately priced and the poster is fairly large and is laminated.

This would be perfect for a workplace with a defibrillator or just for general information so people have a clue if they ever come across a situation where a defibrillator is required.Its quite a daunting thing when presented with a situation when you might need to use the device but having read a poster like this its prepares you with vital knowledge needed. even if you only withhold 20% of what the poster says, you'll be in a much a strong position to provide life saving intervention.The more people with the knowledge the better.

The poster covers how to respond to someone not breathing, CPR and the use of a defibrillator. Large, laminated poster with simple instructions and easily understood diagrams. The size and bright colours makes it easy to see from a distance. The lamination prevents it from deteriorating if wet, and makes it simple to clean. The written instructions can be followed by untrained good Samaritans and the accompanying drawings are helpful if English isn't a first language. Only missing a space to write in where the nearest defibrillator is located.

For someone who has a defib locally. I'd never know how to use it. I'm now looking at getting one fitted for my place of work as I look after vulnerable adults. This would come in handy! It's easy to read, very informative. As a company I would happily purchase again

Great CPR & Defibrillator Guide poster for the office or workplace. Supposed to be good quality written in easy to follow no-nonsense English and easy to follow steps. The accompanying pictures are clear and informative without being patronising and the poster is a good size, laminated, and eye-catching.Obviously this is something we hope we never have to use but i’d rather have the information to hand but not at all. Only issue for me is the price point - almost £20 for a laminated poster!!? I don’t understand especially when similar posters in this range but covering different topics (see “soft tissue injuries” poster) are half the price!

For those trained in the use of the defibrillator, and for those who have not this is a useful poster. The method of using the machine is carefully explained in step by step instructions. The method of performing CPR is also explained in easy to follow steps. The poster is going to be placed in the yacht club I am a member of. Hopefully members will take time to read it in case they have to use the club defribrillator
