Everything you need to clean your camera's sensor

I had a few older cameras that had dust spots that I could not clean off my lenses & then realized the spots were on my sensor. Blowing the dust didn't do the trick so I purchased this kit. I like K&F products and this one did not disappoint, it is very good. It did an excellent job of cleaning off those spots (I watched several You Tube vids to learn how) and from what I can see I have enough swabs and other items to virtually last me a lifetime.Great product, package well and well worth the money. This is an excellent cleaner.

Cleaning your sensor is not a problem.

Works fine! Just use care while doing your cleaning. Two swabs. One wet pass left flip pass right. Then do the same with dry swab. Cleaned all four of my Sensors with no problems. I did have one stubborn sensor that I had to repeat the process but all four sensors are now spotless. Don't over do it with the cleaning fluid. You don't want to saturate the sensor. Use with confidence and just go slow and easy and you will have no problems. I suggest using a bulb air blower to blow out dust and debris before you use the swabs. Now go clean your sensor and use the money you save from having a shop do it to buy more photography stuff!

Good quality

This kit works as advertised. If you're a serious photographer you should have a way to clean your sensor regularly.

Works good with some tweaking to the clenaing method.

Doing this kind of sensor cleaning is not very hard nor very easy. If you follow the instructions as is, you will get poor results. Understanding the process helps in knowing how to tweak the process and that involves using less fluid and wiping several times with the dry swab. When I first tried this as per the instructions, a layer of cleaning fluid was left on the sensor, which was noticeable in my images. I then repeated the process but used only one drop on the swab. When I went to the second step with a dry swab, I just didn’t swipe across twice as the instructions say, I kept going until all the cleaning fluid was wiped away and the surface of the sensor was clean. Just like what you would do when cleaning a window, you keep passing with you towel until the glass is clean, determining this visually. It was almost like I was polishing the sensor, very gently. Now, I know many will say that this is harmful to the sensor. Actually, it is not the sensor you are cleaning, there are layers of filters placed over the sensor. You might argue that you can damage these also but if you are careful this does not happen, at least in my experience. In my case it is a full sensor Nikon sensor and I think they anticipate this and made sure the upper most layer of the filter array is tough enough to withstand this slight rubbing with the dry swab. So, this brand of cleaning sensor worked good for me after modifying the technique. The cleaning fluid formula could probably be improved as to not leave any residue and I am not sure if other brands have achieved this, all you do is try them or read reviews to determine this. K&F Concepts is a good brand but because of this problem with the cleaning fluid I had to give them four stars instead of five.Of course, if you are going to take my advice then you must understand that there are variances of technique and you might not get the results I got. If you are not willing to try this then your only other alternative is to have the camera sent out to have the sensor professional cleaned.

No Need for a More Expensive Option

I cleaned a camera sensor with this for the first time and I used this to clean a Nikon Z9 sensor. I thought about getting the more expensive options but I've had good experience with K&F products that it left little doubt that this would work as well. As mentioned in most YT videos, don't skimp on these...don't reuse the same swab! I ended up using two.The take-away in this whole experience is that I learned that...true camera sensors ARE fragile...but they are surprisingly more resilient than I thought which makes cleaning them less terrifying than it sounds. I don't think there's any way this cleaners can harm the sensor unless you're deliberately applying a lot more pressure than needed...but even then that's still probably going to take some effort.

Made it worse

I followed the instructions to the T, have the camera upside down and blow compressed air in, 2 drops of cleaning solution on the tip, wave in the air for 10 seconds before wiping and wipe left to right then right to left, the middle of the sensor looks like its my car wind shield after being wiped with gas station free cleaning, leaving marks like in the photo. it takes 3 tips to really get rid of it but the bottom lines persists. I might have scratched the bottom my sensor with this, I will have to send it in for repair now.
