My skin is mature, sensitive, redness prone and probably due to hormonal imbalances, I keep getting spot outbreaks. It's so hard to tackle delicate, reactive skin, whilst also trying to keep blackheads and spots at bay. This product is designed exactly to do just that, and it works.The toner is calming and doesn't sting or irritate. I shake a few drops from the bottle into the palm of my hand and spread it on. The serum is a clear gel, and again, so skin calming. Within moments it's absorbed and the texture of my skin feels smooth and mattified. The moisturiser is light and creamy, and soaks straight in leaving my face feeling pliable, hydrated and even toned, all the redness I usually have, has gone. It's as if my skin has been restored to how it should be. The most amazing result is that it feels so natural and pure. It's so light and gentle on my sensitive skin.There is a scent, which is refreshing, and doesn't linger. It's just so clean and fresh and a pleasure to apply.It's such a wonderful set, and just a pity that there isn't a cleanser included here because now I want one.I think that I still do want to use other products to tackle the wrinkles and lines on my ageing face, and at times, some deep moisturising is required, but when I get these periods of combination, both dry and greasy, irritated, and spotty skin these products are perfect and just what I need to use for a while. If I was youthful again this is the product I wished I had been able to use.I appreciated that the products were enclosed in a cardboard box with a cardboard mould rather than plastic. The presentation is just gorgeous, though what I will now do with the tassel and the cloth I don't know yet, but I can't really put these in the bin. For me they were unnecessary, though I get that this is traditional and if you were gifting this then it really makes it look extra special.

The set is thoughtfully curated for a three-step skincare routine: starting with the toner to hydrate and smooth the skin, followed by the serum, which sinks in effortlessly, and finishing with the enriched cream for deep nourishment and elasticity.The formulas are lovely — packed with ingredients like fermented black tea, seaberry, hyaluronic acid, ginseng berry and niacinamide. My skin feels soothed, clean, and noticeably more supple after using all three together. The enriched cream is especially impressive for nighttime use, leaving my skin feeling firmer and well-hydrated.The bottles themselves are sleek and look high-end, perfect for gifting. However, my set arrived with a slightly torn box and one of the back labels was applied rather wonkily, which took away from the overall presentation. It didn’t matter too much for me as I bought it for personal use, but if it were meant as a gift, I might have considered returning or replacing it due to the damaged packaging.Overall, it’s a luxurious set that feels indulgent to use, and I’m hopeful for the long-term benefits it promises in terms of hydration, brightness and skin elasticity.

This calming skincare set from Pyunkang Yul arrived in a simple white protective cardboard box (ideal for protecting the presentation packaging) and inside the products are held within a branded cardboard box, wrapped in a beautiful cloth and protected with a plastic bag. The set includes a toner, serum and face cream and is contained within glass vessels which feels very premium. The minimalist design is very appealing and the presentation of this set is definitely worthy of gifting, or alternatively it could just be a treat for yourself!The set is suitable for sensitive skin and is particularly good for calming easily irritated or acne prone skin. The skincare products use ‘clean ingredients’ which are non-comedogenic and are also vegan certified. All the products feel lightweight on your skin and don’t feel greasy with a mild, clean scent. The three products are all high quality and helps reduce pore size, reduce sebum production and therefore help regulate oil content. The set also contains Centella Asiatica extract, tea tree and honeysuckle to help calm / soothe the skin.The 150ml toner refines skin texture, removing impurities and dead skin clues to help acne prone and sensitive skin. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and well prepared for the next stage. The 30ml serum contains two types of peptides and strengthens the skin barrier to help lock in moisture and the 50ml moisturising cream hydrates and helps moisture retention with the various types of ceramides and hyaluronic acid. Both the serum and moisturising cream absorb well.After using this three-step process I would say that it leaves my skin feeling nourished and soft without any adverse reactions. It is nice to know that the products have been dermatologically tested without using any harsh chemicals. Priced at £49.99 at the time of reviewing, this set is ideal for people with sensitive skin and this Korean based brand has really impressed me – I would be happy to recommend it.
