Vellure® Premium Draft Excluder Strip - Door Seal for Energy Saving, Quick and Easy Installation - Ideal for Keeping Out Cold

This Vellure Draft Excluder was exactly what I needed to seal the gap under my kitchen door. It was a noticeable gap, with visible light shining through before I installed this. I can now confirm that the gap is completely sealed. The excluder was very easy to apply, with a strong adhesive backing that has remained secure for a good few weeks now. It's made from thick silicone and you can tell it's good quality. I can't say for sure how much it's helped with the heating bills, but it certainly stops the draft and even cuts down on a bit of noise too. The only slight downside is a little extra resistance when opening and closing the door, but it's not a big deal and you kind of expect that with it creating a good seal. For the price, this is a great buy.

I bought this to insulate under the door to my boiler cupboard, which had a nasty breeze coming in during strong winds. It's easy to cut to size, and has a self-adhesive strip which makes fitting a breeze (no pun intended!). There are limited instructions so I wasn't quite sure how close to fit it to the carpet, but just placed it right up to it and the door still opens/closes no problem and it's working to keep the breeze out. Recommended!

I bought the Vellure Draft Excluder to keep out the cold, and it does a solid job. The material feels premium, and installation was quick and easy—just peel and stick. It’s made a noticeable difference in reducing drafts, which should help with energy savings.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it could stick a bit more securely on certain surfaces, especially if the door is frequently used. But overall, it’s a great product and does what it promises. Would definitely recommend!

Fitted to our front wooden door. Has lasted without any issues. I stuck this on slightly lower than I should have done. Despite this it is still stuck on to door and doing a good job. Very impressed.

Effective but very stiff. If the gap between door frame and floor (or carpet) rise by more than a millimetre above closed, the draft excluder will rub quite hard as it is very stiff. I had to replace it with a softer brush type because there was a 2mm rise on the carpet.

I bought this product due to a strong draft coming from the bottom of our front door and wanted to keep the heat in. The product arrived the next day and the instructions were clear on what we needed to do. Installation was easy and so far I can lt fault the product. We have had it up since September now I believe and uts still doing it's job. Great value for money! Would recommend.
