Good while it lasted
I bought my blender a couple of years ago. It has only been used for blending soup on about 20 occasions. Last time I used it, the blade shaft detached within the housing after a few seconds so the blade would not turn.The blender was looked after and not overused, so should have lasted longer.

Safety issues with blender
The blender worked well for about 6 months, but then there was a burning smell every time I used it - even after a few seconds use.The motor was getting so hot that the plastic inside was melting!I've stopped using this product now for safety concerns and there is no option to return to Amazon.Very disappointed.

AVOID!!!!!!
I bought this item on 1st Nov and today it broke - almost exactly 6 months as in the other reviews... it only had light use so NOT THE QUALITY I PERSONALLY WOULD EXPECT for the price. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM TO ANYONE.
