Very happy with product, It doesn't take 5 because the manual is ridiculously small.

I bought this radio primarily for monitoring air traffic and so far the performance has been as expected. The product arrived ON TIME, out-of-the-box set up was straightforward and operation of the device is quite intuitive. Overall I am pleased with my purchase after about 7 days of regular use. So far, so good . . . good value for the cost.

Tenia mejores espectativas sobre este radio.Si bien funciona bien en cuanto a la recepción de las distintas bandas. Encuentro que, el material de construcción debiera dar una mayor sensación de calidad, el teclado retroiluminado aportaría funcionalidad y observo un retardo que me molesta entre la acción de un botón y la ejecuccion de la función.

(The radio does NOT use either of the external antenna options for AM (MW) it uses an internal antenna for AM ONLY)-SW- Incredible quality! I've heard broadcasts from Madagascar (East of Africa), China, Spain, Cuba, France, and even Australia (very faint due to propagation) but it's thereAirband- the airband is great I've heard hundreds of transmissions so far, most very clear.SSB works excellent- use it to drown out powerful stations to focus on smaller ones or find ham operators.The battery- Lasts about 30 hours if you never turn off the radio (40 hours with upgraded batteries)100 is a little steep for a radio but this one comes with all bands and is very aesthetic. You can't find a radio that has as as much functionality as this one for under $100

A ton of features packed into a small package. Well built - doesn’t feel cheap. All bands perform well, but AM shines. Wishing the controls had a back light but at this price point you can’t have everything. Highly recommended.

Todas las revisiones que he visto, han sobrevalorado este radio y esta marca, no tiene buen tono, hay radios como el Sony que se escuchan mejor, con todo respeto, a la fabricación china, poco le importan detalles como la fidelidad en el sonido, llevo un nos con el, es 50% digital, el resto muy manual, no corresponde el costo. Disculpen la incomodidad de mi comentario.

A lot of features for such a compact radio. The audio quality is great esp. with all of the various audio filter settings.Bonus points for the SSB and air band performance. Amazing FM broadcast band audio and true stereo separation (with headphones). I wish it had just a true On / Off switch that turned off the display light and the radio and bypassed the sleep timer completely, but it's a minor issue once you get used to it. (Why is a sleep timer so important on a short wave radio?) It is possible to accidentally leave the display light on even after turning the radio off, but again, I'm used to it now. Nice battery life and it recharges reasonably fast.
