I've had this product for over a year and have found that it has been the easiest and most functional for my Surface. I really like that it is wireless. and the battery last for quite some time. It shuts its self off after some time to keep it lasting long and although its a pain I just have to touch the spacebar and it will turn back on. The fit is amazing to my tablet and its very easy to clean when it starts to get dusty.

As several others have mentioned, there are issues with the mouse that make it nearly unusable.Solution: I found the mobee Type Cover keyboard available for older Microsoft Surface Pro. This appears to accomplish what this product advertises.It does not appear to be possible to use the F? keys normally. Example: no way to send [Alt] + [F11] to the operating system. No solution provided by the seller, although they did confirm they were able to reproduce the issue on their side.Additionally, if you missed it in the product description, the keyboard is wireless *only*! It can not be connected to the tablet or powered through the tablet- the only connection option is bluetooth. The backlighting is very odd. It does technically work, but the keys do not light like a normal backlit keyboard. The lighting is much brighter around and under the keys (rather than simply lighting through the character button).* Update: It has been over six weeks now. Seller did bother to respond to my review with something generic, but still has not actually resolved the problem and I can't get them to actually read the message thread or respond at all. I have reached out, without getting an acknowledgement, on Dec 19, 21, 25, 31, Jan 2, 3, 9, 12, 17, and Feb 10th. I suggest you searching for the mobee brand.

Have to give this only 3 stars due to the keyboard backlight falling asleep is such a short period of time. Though you can wake it by selecting any key, if you select the space bar tab or other it function as that key. Outside of that, it has operated as described with no issues. If such a inconvenience is one you can over look you will enjoy it.
