Helps clear congestion
Mama and nurse here. This solution is wonderful for clearing congestion and drying out excess fluids. The increased sodium content in hypertonic solution leaves no room for excess fluid as the salt takes over. Be prepared for some vomiting as your little one coughs up the mucous they could not bring up prior to administering solution. Also useful to squirt in noses for suctioning/clearing nasals if not using nebulizer.
