Love it, neat looking and well made

Pants the toast doesn't go all the way down you can only do half then turn it over! I returned it no problem.

Arrived 2 days late. Waited in to receive but it never arrived until the next morning. Item seems ok but not used as yet.

Great bit of kit

Bits to like:- The design is really nice, and actually so is the screen and the buttons. I really like the little pictures of the toast colour on the front. With no buttons it makes it easy to clean- It's great that it has different settings for different types of food- Stainless steel so no rust- You can fit in long loaf bread like tiger loaf- I quite like the mechanism for pulling the toast down, it works well- Probably the most useful thing for me is the countdown timer so I can see how long until the toast is ready as I'm usually multi tasking- There is a little 'heart' mode with allows you to set up a favourite setting which is cool- 2 year warrantyBits I don't like:- It can't toast a hot cross bun on the lowest setting - it came out black- The casing is really really thin stainless- It claims to be a 4 slicer but I couldn't fit 4 slices of hovis farmhouse in it- Because of the design, it protrudes a lot outwards from the wall so you may or may not have space for it. It didn't really work in my kitchen and would have been better a 'landscape' design- There is no function to 'peek' at the toast while it is toasting to check on progress. This is an absolute must these days- Looking inside, the heater elements aren't even at all. Some don't appear to glow at all- As usual, toast doesn't come out even and as per the manual, each successive slight gets darker on the same setting because the toaster is now hotter (a problem with most toasters though)- You don't appear to be able to turn the bonging noises off it makes. Not great for a quiet morning- Lastly, taking into account the above, it's far too expensive. I paid £100 for a premium branded toaster a couple of years ago which solves most of the above problems. This is punching in a price range way above it's weight and it's more of a £30 item based on the above.Unfortunately I therefore cannot recommend! If it was £30, I'd give it 4 stars but it's more than double the cost with all of these issues.

The manual is useless. It doesn't toast just 2 slices, 4 or nothing meaning huge waste of electric.
