Mad Max 5-Film Collection (4K Ultra HD + Digital)

This is a great set for Mad Max fans in terms of content. The only movie that has no special features whatsoever is Beyond Thunderdome. All other movies have some kind of commentary track or behind the scenes documentary. There's nothing that's newly produced for this set, but it's cool to have so much extra content for most of the films in the set. This is also the only way to get a physical copy of the Black and Chrome edition of Furiosa, so there's that.The packaging looks very nice and feels very nice to the touch. It is hard to get the discs out, though and many times they will come out of their respective slots with glue residue. It's thankfully easy to wipe off and the scratch-resistant coating on blu ray and 4lk blu ray discs is good enough to ensure that your disc won't get damaged. I wish they would have considered putting plastic trays to put the discs in instead of cardboard inserts.Either way, I think this is a great set for Mad Max fans and likely will be the definitive set for quite some time.

La última película (Furiosa) es una maravilla, la mejor de todas en mi opinión. También se incluyen las versiones Black chrome edition de Fury Road y Furiosa. La caja es muy bonita, con un arte espectacular. Lo único que no me gusta es que donde vienen los discos es un tipo de bolsillo de cartón, y es difícil sacarlos. Hay que tener mucho cuidado pues se pueden rayar fácilmente. Tuve problemas con el código digital, y que vienen dos, uno para la primera película, y otro para el resto, pero al momento de redimirlos, ambos códigos son para Zack Snyder's Justice League. Si te pasa esto, debes comunicarte con la Warner Bros, solicitando el cambio de códigos. OJO! no redimas los que se incluyen si tienes este problema, o podrían negarte el cambio de códigos. En los panfletos viene el correo al que debes escribir para realizar la solicitud.

Never stop producing physical media please. I loved this collection so much. It includes the chrome version for both Fury Road and Furiosa which is absolutely a win.

I had looked forward to getting this box set for months, love all the Mad Max films, one of my all time favorites.As soon as I received it, I noticed the case is not that great other than the graphics (which are awesome of course). This comes with the sleeve design which from experience, is always terrible for the discs themselves. Sometimes I wonder if they do that intentionally to guarantee people will be buying again in the future, due to over wear and tear on the edge of the discs. Then I notice that the inside sleeves are actually damaged. The corners were all bent and the Furiosa sleeve had a big indentation that was creased way in. So I'm worried right from the get go, needless to say.The discs that are single sleeve seem fine, however all of them are very hard to pull out. You can barely pull out without getting finger prints on the edges of the discs, so that essentially means you have to clean every time you want to watch which is super annoying. The discs that have the chrome versions are next to impossible to get out and back in.Then I receive an email from Amazon stating the digital codes received in in the set are incorrect. They provided instructions on how to get the correct ones. I follow them and of course, it's this colossal pain in the you know what. They totally act as if your some sort of digital pirate trying to scam them even though you're the one that was put out and didn't receive what you had purchased.Today, I try and put in Furiosa and the disc will not load or play, right now it's stuck in my player because it's stuck in loading mode. Genuis!! I was thoroughly irritated and reached out to Amazon customer service. I am returning the box set to them for a full refund. I feel like WB just got plain sloppy on this. I've never had this issue with any of their releases before now, this is just an absolute shame and I would encourage anyone to steer clear of this release.

At 54 years old, I have seen all of these films multiple times, especially the more recent installments and I unapologetically LOVE all of these movies, George Miller, and the grit and passion that went into these films. I thought Furiosa was fantastic and though I want more Mad Max movies from George Miller, I expect that these 5 films will be it! Upgrading to 4K was a no-brainer when it came to this series and the presentation of this set, the picture and sound quality matched with the abundant extra features make this a MUST HAVE! I was reluctant to buy the set because I couldn't find verification that Furiosa: Black and Chrome was included in the set, but took the risk and it paid off! If you are a lover of escapist cinema and practical effects and mind-blowing stunts, this is a great set!
