Great lens to buy.good wide ange view..
Great product to buy.i have been ordering different varity of products and one of them is the sony e16mm f 2.8. Its a great value for money. Auto focus is good.wide angle pics are great.just got it so have to try more to see how it works.At first try,auto focus was not stable but once clicked you get the result and its amazing..have to try more...go for it..great value for money

Just not sharp enough, for me.
So I bought this lens for the absolutely compact size, but that obviously comes at a massive trade off. Sharpness.On my FF mirrorless camera it provides a 24mm equivalent focal length, which is great. However the images aren't the sharpest. It's fine for day time shooting, but for night time or low light conditions it just doesn't cut it. So in a way it's just about good for street shooting in the day due to it's lovely compact size. OR, if you're a vlogger then probably it's a pretty good option for video. My suggestion is to skip it.

This was a mistake.
Going all the way f2.8 compromises the image quality. The only good thing about this lens is it 16mm to shoot very occasional group photos and landscape hoping they never zoom in. Weird distortions moving away from the center towards the edges. I thought it was the settings and then browsed through a whole bunch of YouTube and Now that I know this is one of the cheapest Sony lenses you can waste your money on. It's looks good on my A6400 being compact and the build quality is nice. I think I should've gone with 7artisans 24mm Manual focus.

Sony Silver Prime/ Fixed Lens , made in Japan
Yet to Use it with my Sony Alpha 6000.But cannot be that good in comparison to the only other Prime Lens available in India.I have purchased this second prime lens made in Japan to make Video recording in my next trip out of Kolkata
