Powerful heatbed

Easy to install, and very powerful. Can hit 145C if in an enclosure with a dedicated external mosfet.Anything beyond 150-155C will begin to degrade the adhesive used to stick the pad to the build plate.Only thing is, the wires are not quite the right size for this amount of power. The power wires can get warm to the touch during normal operation. That is concerning, but they never get hot to the touch from my experience.

Doesnt last. No reply from customer service.

Ive had this since April but it didnt last. Never went past 85 degree and no it cant hold temp at 60 degrees C. Print starts then fails becasue of thermal runaway. Temp juts drops and doesnt recover. Swapped it out with my old PCB heater for the same machine and it holds temp not problem for long prints. Emailed customer service and no reply. Cant return it so I wasted my money. Not cool.

Great upgrade for Bibo

I upgraded the mainboard on my Bibo to a Duet Wifi. Along with that I upgraded the aluminum plate to the Gulfcoast Robotics 3mm plate and this heater. This heats much more evenly than stock. I don't know if the stock Bibo board can handle the amperage of this heater although the stock power supply (360W) is sufficient.

Thernistor not functioning

I ordered this as part of a 3D printer build. When I completed the build I discovered the thermistor will not provide an accurate reading (yes I updated the TEMP_SENSOR number to 11 in the Marlin firmware) . The heat pad itself looks to be very well made and the 3M backing applied smooth and easily and is now permanently part of my brand new aluminum bed....

Was awesome when it worked.

There was a lot to like with this heater in that it has the adhesive backing and heavy duty wiring. Unfortunately, it lasted 3 months and now doesn't heat up. Octoprint complained about thermo runaway when the bed initially couldn't maintain the temp, and the next day it couldn't heat at all. It was conservatively used as I didn't have a need to go over 60c.

Works perfectly and heats well.

I have a mostly stock MakerSelect V2 and this works perfectly with the stock powersupply via a MOSFET. Ships with very sticky 3M sheet already applied.
