Function: When you ride on a boring road and your fingers begin to go numb and your wrist is starting to ache, simply lift up on the Cruise control, and it takes the weight of the throttle return off of your wrist. Easy installation: It is simple to install, simple to adjust, and simple to use. Just in few seconds the Cruise control can be installed to fit any from a bike to some of the largest motorcycles. Usage: Pulling the brake lever will lift the Cruise control, thus turning it off. Also, rotating the throttle off will lift the Cruise control, turning it off. To decrease the maintained speed, simply rotate the throttle off to the speed desired. To increase speed, either roll on the throttle then push press down on the Cruise control with your finger or press down and roll the throttle at the same time. It isn't using up any valuable grip space when you don't need it. Note: Remember not to remove your hand from the throttle. You can rest it on there without the tension, but removing your hand can cost precious seconds in an emergency situation.

Thanks for the carpal tunnel
Did not work for me. Slipped slowly off, until a young stud tightened it until it would not slip and I could cruise. Once I was able to put it in place that is. Then you just pray that a deer or baby does not jump in front of you as you have to grab the throttle hard and yank it to zero. After 3500 miles I had a different kind, about $125, shipped to me to finish the trip. Lesson learned - don't be a cheap-skate, just get the good stuff once.

Great for long trips
Works as advertised. Great for long trips to give hand a break. Some reviews complain about it loosening or slipping during long use on the road, that isn't what it was made for or advertised for. If you want long usage without slippage say for over 15 minutes, get a locking clamp version. If you want it for what it is meant to do, breaks for your hand for 15 minutes or less it works great!

Almost as good as cruise control
I used this throttle lock on a two week ride on a BMW F800GS rental. The bike had a very strong throttle return spring and I watched several other riders suffering from holding their throttle open. But not me. A simple set with my index finger and relax. Simply roll the the throttle off to disengage it. Very easy to make fine adjustments, which made good for riding in a group. My bikes have cruise control and this is the next best thing in my experience.

Adjustment screw didn't work upon arrival
Upon opening the package, the adjustment screw would only move about 1/4 turn. I had to return it for a refund. Terrible that this has only one moving part, which is required to work in order to install it on the throttle grip, and adjust when necessary; that one little part doesn't work. Other reviews mentioned that they had the same problem. Obviously, there is no quality control at all with this manufacturer.

works fine
Only problem i had was trying to get the rubber ring all the way in.the rubber is pretty hard I was afraid I was going to brake it.I used four tiny long metal "toothpicks" to be able to slide the rubber all the way in without damaging anything.once it was set, works like a charm.

Bad luck? Bad product? Idk
I dont know if it was just the one I got but it didnt work at all the screw was stuck I couldn't move it I ended of having to take a pair of small vice scripts and use that to turn it once I got it to start moving decided to take it fully out to try and figure out why it was so hard to move. It was cross threaded very badly

No Break Leavers
This item didn't work with my Spyder as it doesn't have break leavers

Fit great! Works great!
Slid on easily to my 2007 GSXR 600. Nice and tight, hasn't slipped or gotten loose. So nice to have on long trips. Quality of material is good.
