They Won't Be Hurt

They Wont Be Hurt was just excellent. I really love all of Kevin O'Briens books. They are always a thrill ride. Only bummer is that they are so hard to put down I finish them in two days.Laura Gretchell lives in a secluded vineyard in Leavenworth, Washington with her husband and three children. Her husband is traveling to France and Italy to check out some wineries and do some research. Laura is home with her three children when suddenly two men break into her house. She soon learns one of them was a troubled student back years ago when she was a teacher. I wont tell the whole story but this is a fantastic gast moving and downright scary book. I loved it.

I finished this book in one day. That’s how great this book is. I couldn’t put it down, I kept saying one more page but I had to see how it ended. Coming from a long line of school teachers and my husband being a high school principal made the ending of this book so important to me. I have seen my husband help so many kids that I could do relate to this book. I have even seen the heartache when some of them could not escape their hard lives, no matter how much he tried to help them. I highly recommend this book. I feel that this book will touch a lot of hearts of people who have tried to help someone no matter what the outcome may be.

This book is quite different from O’Brien’s previous books, but nonetheless, still suspenseful and fast-paced. Kevin manages to put in some laugh out loud amusement in this thriller, and it works!

I am quite a Kevin O'Brien fan. I have read most of his books, but, this book too me a bit of time to get into. Most of his books catch the reader immediately, but, this book took a while to get into just what was going to happen to a mother and her Children. It was quite a psyche thriller once you could grasp the intent of the kidnapper. That is the only reason I gave 4 stars, because I’m used tohav9ng my mind grabbed right away with O’Briens books. This on took a little time.

Not sure why I love Kevin O’Brien’s books so much. Often he has unexpected heroes or in this book he points out how one person really can make a difference in a child’s life. Good story line...plot development and the hoped for happy ending. Add an excellent writing style and there you have it. Perfect reading for a hot summer day

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It held my interest from start to finish. The characters were very well described and I found myself wanting to jump into the book to help the victims. Just was so true life, I was nervous for the victims and that’s all I will tell you. Read it. I bet you will enjoy it as well.

I have very mixed feelings about this book, it was entertaining and terrifying at the same time,worrying about the family.

OMG! I have read many of Kevin O'Brien novels. They Won't Be Hurt started right from the first page to grab attention.. One good? One bad? EH? I'm over half way finished and do not want this to end.Suspense is fantastic. ..Promises,who to trust? I highly recommend "They Won't Be Hurt"

I was more than happy with my book. I like this writer. I have only just found him. He is bocoming one of my favourites
