Perfect works good
Purchased this for my inverter that I have in the back of my van. Was tired of turning it on and off manually, getting in and out from the back of the van when my phone, laptop, power tool batteries needed to be charged. Now I have it right next to my steering wheel and with the push of a button, it turns on. I do not regret purchasing. It beats having to pull over while driving and walk around to turn it on.

Worked fine for a while. But it's likely NOT the Remote Switch.
I haven't figured out if it's the switch, the cord, or the internals of my inverter, but I did make a pigtail and plug to test out the switch and it looks ok. It may be months before I get back to the inverter to test further. The following may help someone troubleshoot a remote that quit working. Here’s a procedure to test the AIMS Power REMOTEHF Flush Mount Power Inverter Remote On-Off Switchbuild a RJ10 test cord, the four leads are numbered 1,2,3,4, their colors are Black Red Green, and Yellowlooking directly into the end of the plug with the locking tang up, 1-4 is left to right, and black is 1.With a continuity tester across black and red, you should see or hear current flow with the push of the power button. The red LED can be lit by using my fluke continuity tester with leads connected between black and yellow, the white LED will light using green and black, note the polarity is reverse for the white LED with reference to the black lead or pin one.If this all works and your remote inverter does not start with the push of the button, the problem is likely in the inverter or in the cord IF it originally worked as mine did.Good luckNotes:The RJ10 is smaller than the typical plug used on the phone cord (RJ12), but these are easily found on Amazon or eBay. The RJ10 was used between the handset and the base in many wired to the wall phones.

It works! Saves me climbing up a latter to turn the inverter "on".

Who Doesn't Like Convenience?
Connecting the wire is the only issue as camp trailers are never easy to work on. Once installed, the remote switch is great! Don't install a inverter without one if you can route the wiring. The small LED tells you when the inverter is on and changes color when it switches to shore power.
