Charger for ALL
A very nice charger. Well designed and not bad at all. Charging is easy and I hope this last a long time. Longevity matters to me on things like this. I would recommend absolutely for the beginner. No questions asked.

Great Charger For the Price
I've had this for more than a year and it's been a work horse charging my batteries. It has the really useful functions you need and keeps my batteries charged and healthy. If you want a slow charge it has it. If you want a balance charge it has it also. If you're in a hurry you can charge fast, but at the cost of your battery health. There are other settings too that lets you charge to a certain point/level of the battery, so if you want specific charge levels you can. The fan though can get loud at times when charging, but it never bothered me. For the price the quality of this charger is great. Not to mention the size is perfect for me since it can fit in the corner of my house. I recommend this.

Must have for RC pilots who want to sit and fly all day long.
Instructions are about useless, storage charge is preset to 11.40v instead of 11.55v for 3s Lipo, wish I could change this to 11.55v so I don’t have to manually stop it once it gets close to desired storage voltage. Other than this flaw, this charger is a must for LiPo users. Speed charge by cranking some extra amps on balance charge mode and cut your charge times in 1/3rd while maintaining long term battery health. Great for keeping your hobby going all day long and keeping your power cells in tip top shape for the long run. The cooling fans are also overkill and do great at keeping even 6s battery charging at high C eating less than warm to the touch. About as portable as a small lipo smart charger could be.

Nice charger
Seems to be a good little charger.I ordered one of those inexpensive $25 "China" 6A chargers about 4months ago. Sure enough, it made a 'pop' sound and a bit of smoke. It's dead. This is the replacement. While it's also a "China" Charger, it seems a bit better constructed; has higher output charging capbility while operating nearly identically. It easily charges all of my standard and odd-ball custom-built batteries.I both love, and hate, it's output connector.I love it for the convienence. It has nearly any type of output you can imagine on it.I hate it, as many of the outputs have unshielded pins (see pic)...so 'if' they were to be shorted (i.e. come in contact with metal) while another output connector is being used -- I'm sure bad things will happen.Of course both of these issue can be overcome by building your own charging cable and using the standard banana output..The software seems also a bit better than some of the other 'cheap' chargers I've used. If you set it to charge a LIPO at a given rate, it ramps up to the selected rate much quicker than others. I hope that's good, and not a shortcut. Safety is paramount with LIPOs.Anyways, alls well.. Give this a solid 4 star.. if reliability stays after a year, it'll be a 5; especially if you cap that output connector and/or use your own charger cable.(I dont know why they ask me to rank the 'touchscreen' -- this does *not* have a touch screen).UPDATE after 1 year: It's been +13mo after my review above. I'm happy to report this unit is chugging along just fine. I've increased to 5 star.

The charger works great.
The charger is a x-mas gift. So, it needs to be under the tree wrapped for the usual prying eyes. However, being the discriminating person that I am I did test it on 2 brand new batteries also from amazon. They had been discharged partially down to about 30% charge. I followed the sketchy instructions and monitored the action. Each battery(4400 mah) produced almost the exact charge timr to full charge. Each battery displayed within 3 hundredths of identical and each was charged to capacity at 119 minutes and 117 minutes. This info when examined leads me to think that the charger has repeatability that cant be surpassed. There is however one quirk that is puzzeling. Nothing in the instructions mentions the display in the lower righthand portion of the screen. It keeps counting upward and stopped at 3217 on one battery and 3235 on the other. What those readings mean is beyond me.

DANGEROUS! WARNING! PLEASE READ!
I must give a bad rating, because the multi-plug charge cable is very dangerous. I didn't know that when the LiPo battery is plugged in, all of the plugs on the charge cable are energized, and some of them have metal ends exposed, which contacted one another causing a huge short with sparks flying and smoke coming from the unit. It might have been a battery explosion and fire, luckily the battery wasn't ruined nor a fire nor electrocuted. The unit failed, it lights up but won't charge, so I've requested a replacement. I know they work well, I intend to electrical tape the exposed metal parts next time, all I really need is the XT60 plug. Beware with those charge cables, I think a lot of problems with these units is the result of that, aside from having to set up the unit properly, which does appear to be very capable.UPDATE: I just got the replacement unit, some of the adapter ends have shields on them unlike before, but I will still electrical tape over all of the ends and then tape it into a bundle, because all I need is the XT60 plug. Never charge a LiPo unattended, put it outside away from flammables if you must walk away.
