This company is great. So is Alex from customer service. I had a problem with my HP printer. I had two new in the package HP cartridges that were expired but perfectly fine. About $130 worth. Called hp because the printer no longer recognizes their own proprietary cartridges. And they told me a 3 yr old printer which I don’t use often, is obsolete. (Well as usual we are a throw away society) they said basically I should sign up with their cartridge svc. Said no hung up. Went on Amazon to see what I could get for this computer at a low cost since I already lost $. So I ordered this companies product. Well when I put it in I had the same problem. So they gave me instructions on how to fix but I use a different operating system so I emailed Alex back and she said that she would send me another set. Now I am back in business. Thank you so much to this company. They care about getting you upAnd running.

I was really nervous about trying non-HP ink but really tired of spending so much money but it turned out to be a wonderful experience! My printer was not happy wheen I loaded the new cartridges so I called the number for help. It took about 15 minutes to connect to a live person but it was smooth sailing after that. The email with the software link included step by step easy to understand instructions that were easy to follow. They included troubleshooting directions if you got error messages along the way.. They also included instructions to change your printer setting so this wouldn't happen again. I'm really happy I gave it a try.

The ink that I purchased was for some obscure, geekish reason not compatible with my HP 6978 printer. Seems that HP is trying to discourage small ink suppliers by putting some sort of block on the ink cartridges. I called customer service who offered a computer patch that I declined as I was not comfortable making changes to my hard drive. The service rep then said to forget the computer patch and he would send a new supply of ink, upgraded to defeat the HP Monster (my words, not his), something that I accepted. I got the new ink the following day and it works perfectly. Three cheers for the little guy.

I usually do not leave reviews on my Amazon purchases, but I am really astonished by this company's customer support.All three colors worked well, but the black one did not. The "no chip" problem appeared on my printer, so I contacted them.Alyssa has been so helpful and even sent me a new ink set.

I know pretty much every other review talks about the stellar customer service, but it really is top-tier. I didn't want to pay $100 for ink cartridges, so I went with Smart Ink. I followed the instructions for installation but I was still getting a "non-HP chip" error. I contacted customer service via their online chat. Using a Windows computer offers the fastest solution, but we only have iOS devices in our home. The customer service rep sent us updated ink cartridges for FREE and they arrived NEXT DAY. And they work! I printed my son a rainbow picture to celebrate having colored ink again. I am so impressed with the company and so relieved that we don't have to spend a fortune on ink replacements. Thank you!!

I will buy this again and again name brand ink is such a rip off. This ink preforms just as well and does not smear and last long. We print a medium amount of things for personal use and kids documents for school and it last and color is consistent. Never had an issue the customer service is great.

Amazing customer service! I have bought these cartridges for years and never had a problem. I recently installed new cartridges and my printer would not recognize the chip in the ink cartridges. I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 6958. Stupid HP apparently goes against the law and sent updates to the firmware on my printer, so it rejected the cartridges. GRRRR! My printer is way out of warranty, and even if it was newer, I don't want to pay the price for "Genuine HP" cartridges. I called customer service at Smart Ink, and they couldn't have been more helpful! They tried to walk me through "downgrades" with no luck. In the end they sent me new cartridges. Now, THAT'S customer service!!!

Do not buy these for HP printer. They are not compatible at all. Your printer will stop you and will reject them. I tried one cartridge and it automatically said not compatible and could not even use. Contacted seller and of course no response. ***The seller reached out to me this past week and refunded my money. Great customer service at least. They also offered a replacement but I didn't want to waste their product as I appreciate the response and refund received.
