ok so just to be clear, others that have purchased this item complained about the dent. me too. mine was on the side. the board itself is good, a pain to install but it works as advertised. the dent per se is really nothing to worry about, in fact it looks like it belongs for whatever reason. it is possible when they coated it something was attached to the side with maybe a little too much pressure. i did not straighten it, i left it. can't see it when on the wall. if needed would buy it again

4.5 STARS? Good alternative to clutter on the refrig
Wish this was wider than 14" (wider version was unavailable) and that it looked more like the stainless steel finish on our refrigerator. This is a dull gray, as opposed to the brighter brushed steel of the 'frig. We mounted ours vertically, and it was easy enough to hang with 2 screws at the top, but we haven't figured out how to stabilize the bottom yet. Still, it less expensive than other options, and enabled us to declutter the front of our refrigerator.

Arrived bent/warped
Item arrived warped and bent. Also the necessary screws were not included.Have requested a return with refund. Not asking for a replacement.This is clearly a common issue with this product.

Nice boards, but needs better shipping packaging.
Both of my magnetic boards arrived bent / dented in the same place. Both shipping boxes looked mangled upon delivery. If the manufacturer cares about the product arriving like new, then they need to imorove their packaging. The flimsy box it arrived in was not nearly enough to protect it.That said, other than the dents, the boards look nice and have integral slots for mounting both portrait or landscape. Screws are not included, but any household screws with wall anchors should suffice. I used screws and also foam tape for a firm attachment to the wall. The finish is a powder coated silver (not stainless look) which i like.
