Ceramic is heavier than the other types but it feels good, it looks good, coffee tastes great. We bought a second one; we're happy.

I was looking for a ceramic travel mug without a handle that I could use with the shoulder-strap-style drink (tumbler style) carrier/holder that we also purchased on Amazon. There were not many options for the style of carrier that fits this type of travel mug (most were for the huge ones) and there were not many options for ceramic travel mugs without handles, so the fact that the two items pair perfectly is delightful! Now I can tote coffee around with me (in a real ceramic "mug", not metal or plastic) when working in the garden. The lid is good quality and easy to use and clean, not the lightest weight, not the heaviest weight, but midrange. I'm very happy with the mug, the lid and the sleeve.The cup/mug is well made, no chemical smells, no flaws of any kind, came with a tag (seems like a real ello product) and is good quality, looks exactly as shown in photo. If I had found it locally and felt and seen the quality I would have definitely still purchased. (Not that this cup is around here) The return policy made me feel confident, in case it was cheap or arrived broken. But it's good and arrived perfectly. The quality is better than expected, as hoped for. It compares to what one might expect to find in a place where they have good quality kitchen wares.The only thing I would change about this ceramic travel mug is (nothing except) that it would be for it to be available in more color options. :-) If they made it in true green, I would buy another. I got the purple one shown and it is as shown and looks nice.The combo of the ceramic with the grippy no-slip sleeve is pleasing. The grippy sleeve fits nicely and goes under the outside bottom edge of the cup so if you have it on a slippery surface it's okay. It's got grip. You can set it on top of your vehicle while putting groceries in and it stays fine. Plus, it won't scratch or scuff the surface it is set on.Since it is ceramic, I pop a basket style tea strainer in and make a one drink coffee in this without a coffee maker. Remove that, empty the grounds into the compost and delish coffee to go.The pastel colors make these especially good Spring and Easter gifts, just don't forget to fill with candy! hahaIt's looks nice and functions well. Very happy with this travel mug. Recommend.

I love that it’s an alternative to all the mugs and tumblers that are stainless steel-lined. I swear I can taste the metallic taste no matter the quality. The description says it is leak proof and it most definitely is NOT. However, it’s a good size, easy to hold, and easy to clean.

Like that it not metal.Lid is loose and will leak badly.Also loses the heat so coffee is cold fast

I had ordered the gray one and was very pleased with it, so then I ordered the other three colors. Pleased with the teal one and the purple one. Now these are not leak proof, however they are well made and each hold a good 2 cups of liguid. Now here is the issue, the blue one on the inside has many tiny bumps that was not smooth out in the process of the making of it, then it was glazed over without the bumps being smooth out. So when I received these and was giving them their first washing before using them I noticed the bumps and some of them were sharp enough to cut the back of my hand twice, so because of the defect, that teal one should have never been shipped out in that condition in the first place, someone was obviously not doing their job on quality control at where they were made, then at were they were shipped out from also, well that is the reason for the low rating. So the teal one is useless to drink out of, thought maybe I could drink out of it, but when washing it I would have to pay attention to not get cut again, but then realized that some of the sharper inner bumps has been chipped off some, so I could feel the ceramic without the glaze, so not safe to drink out of now. Hopefully this review will help remind quality controll at amazon to check before sending.

I have been moving away from plastic tumblers, and I dislike the taste of liquids in stainless steel. This ceramic mug is a great option. No, it does not keep coffee hot as long as insulated mugs, but the coffee tastes much better. I use these mostly for water in my car and around my home. I have purchased three.

After 6 months, the ceramic glass cracked in a ring about a centimeter from the bottom and began to leak.
