You know those mystery/suspense movies that keep you guessing until the very end? This puzzle was like that for me. Even when I was down to only 20-30 pieces left, this puzzle did what puzzles do that make them fun. Probably the most challenging puzzle I've ever done... when I'd be just sure the color matches, this piece has to go there, then no wait that's not quite right, but it was even more satisfying when I would find the correct piece. I have one of those small puzzle tables that can be moved from, the living room.. to the floor in front of the tv..., to out of the way at times..., or wherever I want a better angle or different vantage point... And of course like most of my puzzles it turned out to be the 999 piece masterpiece..., because when the table is down on the floor and within reach, my dog will need to see what all the fuss is about. But only one piece is all it takes for her to conclude: "nope no idea, it doesn't even taste good!!" So she lays there next to me wondering how much longer until we can go outside and play, which is one of the few things that could tear me away!! Like the movies that suck you in and keep you guessing, this puzzle was very entertaining!

This puzzle was fun to put together with the vibrant colors - beautiful picture. The puzzle pieces were a nice thickness and fit together very well. I put together lots of jigsaw puzzles and would consider this one moderate difficulty at most - and enjoyable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because it was not easy to move around groups of pieces (though they stayed together when just slid around the table). If I needed to move groups of pieces, I improvised and used a kitchen flipper. Worked like a charm. I will definitely keep this puzzle and put together again in a few years.

If you like a challenge, buy this puzzle. It will normally take me 3-4 days to complete a puzzle, but this one took 6 days.

This is a nice puzzle to put together. It is just the right amount of difficulty making it fun to put together and not too difficult. It comes in a nice box and with a nice poster. The pieces fit together nicely. I recommend this puzzle to someone who enjoys a little challenge.

This was a gift to my Dad, who loves putting together jigsaw puzzles!
