Excellent Vinyl!
Love this album and the vinyl adds to it. This record sounds awesome and has a great sound to it, that fits in nicely with the other Ratt albums before it and the next few, as well. Has kind of a theme to it throughout. This album does not disappoint and any Hard Rock fan would appreciate the excellent guitar work and the super vocals on this record.

SHM CD Review
I'm happy the remastered edition of the Ratt records finally come to light. I am because I loved the band in the eighties and because the original editions sound very poor. They lacks depth, dynamic, contrast, air, quality sounds. In the end they sound flat. The first cd I got from this new batch of remastering is "Dancing Undercover", probably a weak album in the end from a musical standpoint. I like it, I have to say, but it's not the best from the band, which is "Invasion of your privacy" to me. The album sounds quite the same from the beginning to the end, there are not many changes in the mood, this may be considered a strong point or a weak one. Personally I find it lacks some tension and drama ,... everything is too much predictable in the music. It's not a bad album, it has its strong moments, "Body talk", "Enough is enough" and "One good lover" are probably the best tunes and Warren plays great as he always did by the way. But you know, it's one of those albums that are not great, not bad, just good. But maybe it's not enough. Talking about the SHM Japan edition I have in my hands, I can say it's wonderful, as always are japanese editions. Everything is like the old vynil edition, with the inside cover perfectly replicated. It's wonderful to have everything back, japaneses know very well what the collectors want. In terms of audio reproduction I have a very good hi end system and you audiophiles like me know very well that rock cds very seldom play great and do justice to the quality of your system. I can say that this edition sounds well enough, but it's not the best sounding rock album I own (which is probably SHM edition of Yes 90125). The comparison with the original edition is impossible, we have a good sounding album here, the old one was quite poor. The original edition lacks dynamic more than anything else, the sounds are too much sleak and flat. With the SHM edition they overcome this weakness a little bit but the general sound of the album is the same. Yes there are a lot more volume, dynamic and contrast, and it's a nice audio experience. But it's not GREAT, probably the limits of the original recordings are too much. Anyway, if you are a fan of the band you probably want to own this one. I think it's an important upgrading to the original version of the album, ... even if the limits of the recording are somewhat still here.

Party Worthy. Great group. Most energetic. Nice.
I have liked Ratt for as long I can remember. I'm hoping that Pearcy can get the original band members for a final studio album. They have a clean and fast sound and are definitely metal, heavy metal videos show these guys having a blast.

Ratt Has Never Sounded Better
This has always been my favorite Ratt album but I love most of what they did, Rock Candy did a good job with these reissues. I am glad someone is finally understanding that the metal music from the 80's was amazing and is giving the music it's proper dues.
