THE DISPLAY HAS HUGE NUMBERS!Need I tell you how easy is it to read it from across the room? Because if you never struggled with small digits you won't appreciate it but if you had I need not to spell it. Yes, this puppy is amazing. Inch tall or so digits tells you what you need to know without beating about the bushes.THE TOUCH SCREENYes, I don't know how many devices of this size have touch screen but even if they do, they lack other features as I must have spent few days searching for a perfect device and this is it!I love how you can touch the screen to change it from F to C and back as you please andthe light comes on if you need making the screen gorgeous blue like ocean or the early evening sky..LIGHT ON /OF TOUCH .. gorgeous blue LED screen !Yes, all you need is one touch and you can easily find it as it is in the middle of the bottom of the screenand no guess work here. Touch i and the gorgeous blue light as in picture comes up. I really lovethe fact that they did not lie in the product picture. Do you know how many times we allsee product promising nice LED light to the screen and then it comes and it is phew.. meh..NO, this baby is really what it looks in the picture. Lights come up for few moments for you tosee better and then it auto turns off.EASY MOUNT NO tools with a little extra effort on your side.They provide you with mounting but I found easy workaround to put it on any wallwithout hurting the paint or need for tools.I bought double sided clear tape.. while ANY double sided tape will do and I have no benefit ofsharing this I still do because I just love this tape for little jobs when I need to stick a pictureto the wall. You can move it about and no trace. The ThermoPro TP55 does exactly what I want and with excellent design. It has exceeded my expectations. I like to know the humidity but until the TP55 I did not have a hygrometer.Humidity has a lot to do with how comfortable the air may be. I think we all think about hot and humid but cool or cold and humid aren't so great either: the term "clammy" comes to mind. Likewise very low humidity in winter can indicate a humidifier is called for. The point is having a way to measure humidity can be very useful to help make my home more comfortable.Things I like about the TP55+ The screen is large and easy to read (without my glasses)+ the touch controls (backlight & C/F degrees)+ 24h and all time max and minimum temp/humidity readings can be displayed+ A nice little "kickstand" for sitting on a table and keyhole for wall mounting+ The magnets on the back that work great on my fridge (the outside!)+ The backlight has just the right brightness for my home+ Even comes with batteriesThings I don't so much:I'm not coming up with anything. I'm really very pleased.I'm really happy I got the ThermoPro TP55. It exactly meets my needs and has been working perfectly for a couple of months. Compact but with a large enough display: it's better than I expected it to be when reading the product listing. Because I like it so much it should be obvious I'm giving it 5 stars.UPDATE 28, Apr 2018:I have really liked my TP55 thermometer/hygrometer since I got it last summer. It was very helpful in winter to let me know when to break out my humidifier. Now rolling into summer it's nice to know the indoor humidity level. I check it frequently and so far it seems pretty accurate temperature-wise. Humidity-wise too though I only have how I feel and the local weather as a basic of comparison. It is still going strong on the original batteries that came in the package.. I remain very pleased and fully satisfied.

Great functionality in just the right size - Layout makes it easy to find the information quickly and orderly - Text is clean and clear and east to read even with less than perfect vision - Historic information is very helpful - Very happy with my new hygrometer / thermometer - I am buying a second one today for the upstairs

Very pleased with ease of set up and quality of display. The readouts are much better and seem to be more in keeping with the actual air temp and humidity (I don't have third party high tech equipment to truly verify.). I like the fact that it lights up and has easy on-screen buttons for changing things. So definitely a great buy for average home owner who wants a good idea if humidifier is set properly and if there are possible insulation issues in parts of house.Minor Complaints Here OnlyI couldn't give it five stars because the user interface is too simplistic and the display too busy to have it all on there at one time. You do get used to it but there is little need to have high/low readouts constantly displayed on the side when it would be better to have a secondary screen that focuses on daily averages in the form of a graph or just a time of day with readings at two to four hour intervals. The DRY/WET is fixed to the screen as is more confusing than it needs to be because the screen simply cannot accommodate the extra information with the humidity display being as large as it is. The only indication of too wet or dry is a small arrow that can barely be detected, and the idea of wet/dry would have been better served with a separate screen that was a micro-wiki about optimum humidity in relation to outdoor temps. These are minor gripes that could easily be remedied and only add a little cost per unit. Or it could come with a small business card linking it to a ThermoPro web page with recommendations (and boilerplate statements that this is intended for amusement only:).
